Is Dev protagonist or antagonist? All his behavior with Sonakshi is offensive and unacceptable. What these writers are showing is not only regressive but depict a ridiculous version of Indian Culture which harms more than entertains.insulting ur ex-wife and her father and flaunting attitude, if he can forgive his silent killer Mother then why can't he see goodness in Sona, this show is trying to depict Men are superior and woman are meant to suffer and to bear insults, is she tolerates everything quietly she is good and if she walks away she is bad.
writers are you like Dev in real life trying to justify men's ego or problems?
I am an independent working mother, I am someone's daughter, wife, daughter in law, mother to a little boy and would love to have a daughter in law like Sonakshi. Only difference is I am not Ishwari.

You said it correctly .

Fact that they are justifying all insults and abuse of woman and " by whitewashing about fact that 200 episodes didn't happened. Is reeks of chauvinism only. Well i cant blame writers also when we have female producer who blatantly promoting chauvinism and abuse ,insults of woman.🤢🤢 I have learnt big lesson that is never watch beyond dreams show again 🤢🤢

Completely agree with you!
Writers of this show (and many other shows on Indian TV) are total male chauvinists who want to show a man's abusive behavior towards his wife as normal.

I just hate that word Tashan...WHAT THE HELL!
Showing attitude, being rude and abusive is supposed to be attractive in a man? 😲
Do women and girls like to be abused, manhandled in real life?
Or are the writers trying to normalize such physical, emotional, verbal abuse? 🤢
