EPISODE:
After watching the episode, I'd only say, "Idiots are magician. If you hang around them, they will make your intelligence disappear".
Today there are two couples who decided that they will prove what I said above. They decided that if their partner decide to be a moron, they will do their sacred duty and be moron with them so that their intellect can match.
I personally believe that if my partner (or me) being an idiot, he'd (or I'd) much appreciate if the other person keeps their sanity and use their intelligence to stop the other from making a mistake.
But nope. That ain't what happened today.
Sona decides to call Dev about Suhana's decision. Bijoy stops her. Sona says that Soha took such a big decision. That will affect Dev too as a father. He has rights to know what Soha has decided.
Bijoy says that he is not concerned with Dev's rights. Soha took a good decision and he is with her whether anyone is with her or not. He has heard enough from them.
Me: No, Bijoy. No one expects you to show any concern for Dev. But you have no right to stop Sona from calling Soha's dad nor you have any right to take Soha anywhere without her parents' consent. So you can keep your concern (or lack of it) to yourself, but you can't impose it on anyone else.
Here in Dixit mansion, Ishwari comes to Dev and tells him that she heard Soha was upset today. She didn't eat or play. She didn't talk to him either.
Dev says that she doesn't need to worry. Sona handled everything. She talked to Soha and she understood. Sona took away all his tension.
Ishwari (completely ignores what he said) says, she understood? What an "understanding" child. Then looks at Dev, "Understanding" father's "understanding" child.
Me: Nehin Maatashree. "Manipulating" daadi's "blackmailing" poti... Aao beta bolke neeche se carpet kaise khich lete hain yeh gun aap se hi to mila hain viraasat mein.
Abhi aap jab Soha "understanding" lag rahee hain to Dev ki beti. Kal jab chaal chalegi, to conveniently Soha ki parvarish ho jayegi, nehin?
Back to Bose house, Saurabh says to Bijoy that Soha is Sona's daughter. She should take decisions regarding her.
Bijoy refuses to listen and says that he won't let Dev ruin Soha's life. He tells Asha to stay in Delhi until Saurabh's aashirwad and then she can also come to Kolkata.
He also warns that until he reaches Kolkata with Soha, no one will tell Dev about this.
Me: Haan to, senile old man. Kolkata na bahut shareef sa, book-loving, sweets-loving, sometimes arguments about world affairs over tea type jagah hain. Wahan naa Trump ne kisiki entry ban nehin ki hui hain ki Dev wahan nehin pahuch sakta. To aap wahan pahuch ke kya ukhar loge? Wahan kaun sa aapki army khari hain? Ulta jo kidnapping ke charge mein jail jaoge woh alag. Aur wahan jail mein fish curry to bilkul nehin milegi.
Arre koi illogical arguments point out kyun nehin karta yahan?
But nope, Sona is pleading for Bijoy to listen to her. Bijoy says that he won't listen to her. Now it's her turn to listen to him. That's his decision.
Me: You know Sona, you truly have zero sense when it comes to people you love.
No, really. Here your daughter says that she agreed to be happy so you should let her go to Kolkata. There your father says that you made mistake over Dev, now you have to let him take your daughter to Kolkata as an exchange.
I mean, seriously? To agar main bolu, ki itne din se aapki bewakufi ne mere patience ka pakoda tal diya, to apni beti mere naam kar do, to kya aap mujhe apni beti handover kar dogi?
Ramplastilskin ki kahani nehin suni? Arre woh duffer queen bhi apne bachhi ko handover nehin kiya. Aur yahan, aapki bewakufi ke badle yeh log aap ki beti maang rahe hain aur aap ke paas bolne ke liye kuch nehin? Dimaag ka dahi jama liya hain kya?
Mujhe naa pakka dikh raha hain ki Soha ki kya halaat hogi ab. Jab Soha Bose house mein rahega to Bijoy usko manipulate karega aur jab Soha Dixit house mein rahega to Ishwari takeover karegi. Kyunki bechari ke parents ki koi personality nehin hain naa.
Moving on in Dixit house where Ishwari is going, Is that your final answer? To lock kar diya jaye?
Dev is assuring, Yes mummy. Soha is happy again. So she can again be my happiness.
(Thinking in his head): Achcha hua mere offer ko Sona ne liya nehin. Warna to mummy se punishment milta bina pooche offer dene ke liye.
Ishwari is relieved so gave some more gyan on kids and parent and how parents can't be happy if children are not happy. Then she whines about meeting Soha.
Me: Maata, apke case mein ulta hain. If you are not happy, you won't rest until you suck out every single person's happiness including your darling puttar.
Back in Bose house, Asha tries to stop Bijoy. She says that Bijoy is hurting Sona. They argue but Bijoy doesn't give up his stance.
Here Sona watches Soha packing her bags.
Me: Asha, you can talk until your mouth bleed but the fact is that you have as much rights on Soha as Bijoy does. So whatever you say, Bijoy doesn't have to follow. But Sona has more rights than all of you combined as Soha's mother. If she doesn't put her foot down, then nothing can stop Bijoy.
God, Sonakshi. Kab sikhogi apna haq lena? Kam se kam apne beti pe to apna haq jatao. Haq koi bheekh mein nehin deta, bewakuf aurat...
This is raising my blood pressure, I swear.
Anyways, Sona is watching Soha packing her bags. Asha comes there. Sona complains about her dad to Asha. Asha tells Sona that Bijoy is only thinking of Soha now. He loves both Sona and Soha. She also tells Sona to let her go to Kolkata. May be she will understand Sona's point then.
Me: Ookay... I was just thinking how well you make valid points Asha hearing your arguments with Bijoy. But you just lost the sensible title again.
Are you guys serious? Okay since parenting is a difficult point for you to grasp, let's try practicality. Are you forgetting that Soha is a little girl who has school to go to? So you want to take her from this school to a school in Kolkata away from her parents, then want her to come to terms with what Sona and Dev was saying (could be a day, a month, a year or several years), and then you again want to disrupt her schedule and bring her back to Delhi when she changes her mind.
Seriously? Akal ko chawanni mein bech ke aaye ho kya?
Sona? Apna dimaag bhi ussi raddiwale ko bech do jisne tumhare father or mother ka brain kharida hain. Iss useless cheez ka rehna, naa rehna ek barabar hain.
Tum yeh nehin keh sakte ki Soha ki life "go as you like" nehin hain ki woh apne mood swing ke hisaab se badalti rahe? Tum yeh nehin keh sakti apne baba ko ki Soha tumhari beti hain aur jab tak tum permission nehin dogi, Soha kahi nehin jaa sakti?
Yaar, I swear mujhe naa mentally challenged logon se koi problem nehin hain. Maine bahut baar volunteer kiya hain un logon ke liye. Lekin jinke paas akal hote hue bhi bewakuf hain, woh log mujhe bahut irritate karte hain.
Saurabh meets Ronita and tells her what's going on. Ronita makes him calm him down and tells him to have faith on Bijoy. Saurabh thinks about cancelling the ceremony. Ronita offers to support him.
Me: These two are the most sorted couple so far. I swear I have to skip to their part only from now on.
Sona comes to Bijoy and tells him that he can't take Soha away from her. She says that she will talk to Soha and so would Dev. Bijoy gets angry at his name. He says that she doesn't need to talk to Dev. This is their family matter. He also tells her that as Soha's mother she should respect her decision.
Sona tells Bijoy that Soha will miss both her parents in Kolkata. But Bijoy doesn't listen. So she says fine, she will respect Soha's decision. But she has another duty as Soha's mother. She can't hide this from Dev. So she will inform him and he can do what he wants. Bijoy doesn't say anything.
Sona calls Dev but he is sleeping and probably the cell phone is silent. So she can't reach him.
Me: Wow... Sona aapne kitni neatly Dev ko Bijoy ke saamne khada kar diya... Aapko pata hain naa ki bina aapke permission letter ke koi bhi Soha ko kahin bhi le nehin jaa sakta? Bijoy will have to show your permission letter to take Soha anywhere. Aap woh nehin bol sakti thi? Point pe kabhi yeh ladki baat nehin karti.
Next morning, Sona changed from pink curtain to blue curtain top.
She is sitting on Soha's bed and caressing her face. Soha wakes up. She says that she doesn't want to be late for flight. Sona tells her to shower. She will take out her clothes.
Me: Say what? Okay, I give up. Bijoy should take Soha away from this duffer.
Sona sees Soha's doll and goes to put in her suitcase. Soha says that she is leaving the doll behind for her mother so that she can love the doll when she misses Soha.
Me: Sona, see this? That's called your heart strings. See that mini maestro? Yep. That's her playing it like a pro. And see the lady in the mirror? Yep. That's the giant sucker she is licking while playing on your heart strings.
On the other house, the other lollypop gets into his bike to get Soha. His mother comes running with sandwich, "Dev, mera laddoo, maine tere liye yeh banaya hain."
Me: I swear yeh aurat kuch na kuch pakati hi rehti hain. Logon ko pakane mein inka to koi competition hi nehin hain.
Maataji first complains, then cajoles, then informs that she is going to temple with her two muft-ki-roti khane wala bhaiya aur bhabhi.
Dev leaves.
On the other side, the first sucker is saying good bye to Soha as if she is going to university or going to sasural with her husband...
Soha decides to ping some more heart strings with secret sign of her dad and buttering up for mummy so that they both feel uber guilty. Kids really know how to play their parents. But these set is like a frigging play doh. To dono ko ladki ne murga aur murgi bana diya with the help of her grandfather.
Anyways, Sona goes in and weeping. Dev comes there and very politely asks her to take Soha to his home. He promises that he'd like to take Soha home. He promises that he will get her to do all her homework.
Sona is silent.
Me: Homework to ab woh tum dono se karwayegi beta. Ab to dekhte jao.
Dev asks why is she crying. She says that Soha left for Kolkata leaving them behind. (Me: #FacePalm)...
Dev is shocked and in instant panic.
He asks Sona why she didn't stop her? He reminds Sona that she said everything was fine yesterday.
Sona tells him what happened and also tells her that she called him but couldn't reach him.
Dev tells her to stop crying. He says why did she let her go. She asks what she could have done? Lock her in a room?
Me: Yes. That's what you should have done. It's called being grounded, you idiot.
Dev says that he is going to stop her. He won't let his daughter go. Sona asks how would he stop her? By force?
Me: Yes. He is her father, you idiot. And just in case you forgot, you are her mother. What kind of parents are these?
But nope. Bhaiya decides to be the Santa Clause and appoints ex-bhabhi elf. He says he will give whatever his daughter wants. He can do anything for her. So he will forget last 7 years and live with Sona. Is she with her?
But of course duffer Sona agrees.
Me: Just for the heck of it, I'd like to know what Bhaiya would do if ex-bhabhi had said no. What would he have done if she had said that she is not prepared to forget last 7 years? How would he give his daughter everything her little spoiled self desires?
Anyways, Bijoy wants Saurabh to fly the car. Saurabh just got engaged. so he is more concerned with safety. Here Bhaiya is flying his batmobile with ex-bhabhi hanging for her life in the back.
At the same time, Maatashree with her two ego-stroker passes the area and her witching assistant spots them. She screeches alarm that their treasury is in someone else's hand. So they follow them.
Me: Ye Gods!!! Madari ke peeche bandar aur bandar ke peeche chudail ki toli... Aur kya dekhna baaki hain?
Anyways, Lollypop no. 1 & 2 stop Bijoy's car and Chudail party stop their car where they stop their udan khatola... Background music: Waqt ne kiya...
Me: And circus on the road for public entertainment.
CVs ne kiya kya haseen sitam...
Reality ke naam pe bewakuf ban gaye hum...
Soha comes out of the car, "Papa" (I was hearing, Sucker... Jitna plan kiya tha usse bhi kam time laga bewakuf banne mein)
Dev says that she wanted her parents stay together. That's what will happen.
Soha smiles. But she is business family's girl. So she confirms with the other party.
Sona also confirms.
Soha smiles bigger. (Big smug gotcha smile. Like the one I get when I am proven right in any argument)
Me: Speechless!!! Kabhi dekha hain itne bewakuf parents?
Ishwari is shocked to see that there is someone who can out-manipulate her. She tells Dev that he promised her that he will never go back to Sonakshi. Suhana is a little girl. They should understand.
Bijoy cuts in that she can't say anything to his granddaughter.
Ishwari says that Suhana is her granddaughter too. If she was raised at their home, she won't have made demands like this.
Me: Are you frigging kidding me? How would Soha be raised in your home without her mother? And if she was raised there with her mother, why would she make demands to unite her parents? They would have been together already.
Sona and Dev, see? This is what you will expose Soha too. And you don't even have the personality to stop them. Duffer kahike.
Anyway, Soha doesn't let Bijoy say anything in front of Soha. And Dev pacifies Ishwari saying this is all for Soha.
Radha decides to jump in and say that what about what he will face because of "this girl"? Bijoy gets mad, Asha calms him down.
Dev says that he only cares for Soha. Nothing else matters.
Bijoy says that he can't use Soha to re-enter his daughter's life.
Sona says that the decision is not only of Dev's but hers too.
Me: Bijoy, did you see what you have done? Had you supported Sona yesterday, today your biggest nightmare won't have come true. That's why grandparents should always remember that they are not the guardian of grandkids. And parents should never forget who is the parents here.
Anyways, Bijoy and Ishwari try to change their mind. Asha stops both of them. She tells them that they can't take decision on Dev and Sona's behalf. Soha is their daughter and only they have the right to take the decision. She will support both of them.
Dev and Sona look at Asha as if they can see the sparkly halo behind her back.
Me: Asha, aapki yeh batti kal kyun nehin jali aajki nautanki hone se pehle?
Anyways, Dev, remember this is the lady you had termed as "aunty" for that woman there. Now your own mother didn't support you, yet this "aunty" whose daughter you and your family mistreated, supported you going against her own family. Maa, aisi hoti hain.
PRECAP: Bijoy opens the door and Dev says, "Mr. Bose, did you miss me?"
Bijoy gets angry. He asks why did he come there?
He says that didn't his daughter tell him? He will stay at her house for a week and then Sonakshi will go to his house to stay for a week and then again he will come back in this house for a week.
Asha is shocked and so is Sona (not sure if she is worried or shocked).
Bijoy is fuming mad.
Me: Bhaiyaji, aap apna attitude yahan maroge naa, to yaad rakhna ki Sona bhi apna attitude aapke ghar maaregi apke mummy ke upar. Iss baar exclusively Sona ki insult nehin hogi. Ab aapki bhi insult hogi.
Iss liye apna attitude sidha rakhho. Warna agar Sona tedi ho gayee, to Soha ko bhi tedi hone mein jyada time nehin lagega. Aap apni beti ke liye hero ban paye kyunki Sona ne aapka saath diya. Agar woh mana kar deti, aapki beti Sona ke parents ke saath Kolkata nikal leti.

Tia darling this is what i have been ranting from season 1. the biggest flaw in otherwise strong character of sonakshi is when it is time of action, all she does is cry load and loads. seriously!!!
when it was time to confess about her love to dev, atleast tell him that she has feelings for him during natasha fiasco all she did was cry buckets.
even today all she can do is cry buckets. haq bheek mein ya virasat mein milne waali cheez nahi hai. dev was right pyar haq de dedeta hai. bus aap ko usko janatana hoga.
she has to ascertain her rights in order to get them. she cannot keep requesting, rights are something to be exercised !!!
