👏
I think Dev should stop acting like a hero material and behave like a kid that he is so that the specific girls, who only want to mother him, can approach him😊... His cool and popular and romantic avatar confuses women thinking that he's the Prince Charming they are looking for🤪... He just needs another Ishwari who will fuss over him 24*7 as a wife with special benefits 😉 Poor kid seeking for love in unloving ways... 😉

If you want to continue doing so, this might not be the right topic for you. I dont encourage that. Good luck.😛

Sorry if i hurt your feelings but sometimes i geneuinely feel fed up after watching irrational bashing of dev or sonakshi...

What all you said is right. My objection is to pass on such unhealthy equation in the name of love-story. From where I see it, it shows that having a kid (despite being difficult on the fertility) resolves all equations with HUSBAND. I am not even going till Ishwari. I have major issues with Dev reconciling with Sonakshi and realize his share of mistakes NOW. He will give it a thought to retrospect ONLY because Soha is there. What if she wasn't there ? Doesn't Sona, as an individual, as a lover and wife demand the same respect (may be more than as a mother of a child) ? And amazing is how Sona, being the romantic is shown as going weak on her knees cuz of this 'love'. Yes it's Sonakshi's story and she seemed to be fine with it. However, in Bollywood movies there are many love-stories where stalking, forcing himself on someone in the name of love, eve teasing, bullying, disrespecting and belittling the woman, blackmailing, objectifying her as nothing more than an item etc are passed on as love-stories and in the end heroines still want to be with that guy. I am from the section of audience who find it immensely wrong and influential to the young generation and want to voice out my opinion against it.

This is not the only show/movie which projects such behaviours, and I consciously stay away from such shows. But trust me, had I not being misled about THIS show from the initial promos and first 100 episodes, I won't have cared to continue this long with this trash. I had different expectation from this show which it cannot deliver anymore. And I cannot just simply sit and bring myself to watch it without holding grudges. If I had to watch a show for just a mindless love-story or chemistry between the leads, why won't I watch Gul shows😆. However, I am still ranting on this show with the hope that CV/makers one day would want to make Dev see his faults, try to redeem him and eventually have some growth on this character.

P.S. - I dont want Dev to leave Ishwari. And I dont think he can ever do that either. However, I dont see him maturing and giving 2 hoots to Ishwari about his decisions, he still shares his thoughts about Sonakshi with Ishwari, his fears regarding Soha with Ishwari, I just don't see the detachment which you can see.😕Let's see if it would be there if time comes. I cannot bet on that.

Pechaan.kaun nice post 👏

What I have been saying is that each human being has different needs and sonakshi has been shown to be the person who wants a fairly tale romance and who has an inherent need to mother. She is the sort who gets carried away by dukh bhari kahaani.

It's the CVS story and their characters. We can't complain that the character should be as per our specifications or should adhere to xyz thought process. We have to just accept it the way we accept the mentality and point of views of people in real life. It's after all their life, their wish. They are not I.

Agreed with last para. It's their story. We have no choice other than accept. I had high expectation in dev's character growth. But I doubt cvs ever show according our expectation. In fact they are cheating us in the name of devakshi, they are dishing us eshwari and her story and telling us how she is correct. Atleast for moral ethics sake they should show she was wrong. But now they are showing dixit family are victims. Sonakshi did all the mistake. my biggest scare is they make sonakshi dumb and going back to Dev without proper redemption. Hope and finger crossed that does not happens.

There are hints all over the place.

1. He calls himself a failed husband, does he ever call sonakshi a failed wife?

2. He constantly says you went away and is angry only and only due to that because in his twisted brain sonakshi promised to be with the child called dev, come what may. But did he ever say that you were wrong?

3. He quietly signed the papers sonakshi asked him to. Forget single custody, he is not even thinking about joint custody.

He keeps.on flexing his muscles and spouting nonsense to appease his male ego but deep down he perfectly knows that he is wrong. the only time he showed genuine attitude and anger was when he felt sonakshi had purposefully hidden soha from him.

He is a highly child like individual, not grown up emotionally at all. Somewhere deep down in his heart he is still hoping that he will get both sonakshi and soha back but is also scared that he won't be accepted because the mess he made previously.

So like a child he goes around showing attitude. See him the way you see a five year old and you will understand him perfectly.

Dev dixit is not the sort of guy one should ever fall in love with in real life but this is sonakshi's life, her fairytale romance.

After all individuals are different and what is irritating and idiotic for us might be the perfect love story for others. There are women who seriously believe in adopting their husbands.

So, I just sit back and enjoy sonakshi's love story

👏⭐️ Awesome response Payal

Just that I feel it's Ishwari's love story for her son Dev. Sonakshi is the vamp from whom he protects her.

Honestly speaking I don't think Ishwari is being justified anywhere. I at least still find her creepy.

Ishwari has already been shown punished for past seven years but again finds it easier to blame Sonakshi than accept her fault. Plus she genuinely believes that it is all Sonakshi fault.

She will start getting her just desserts when Sonakshi will return back. Let's wait for that.

Further another major complaint I hear is that cvs are degrading Sona by showing that Dev will take her back because of Soha. No thats not the case. Dev already badly wants Sona back but knows that he has burnt his bridges and so shows attitude to save his face.

It's Sonakshi who will take Dev back because of Soha. Soha is not there to get some imaginary acceptance or forgiveness for Sonakshi . Sonakshi neither needs it nor wants it. Soha is there so that Sonakshi is forced to forgive and accept Dev back

Sorry edited the responses for readability.

Absolutely agree with your lines above.
@Bold, it is easier on the eyes to bring the upper hand down rather than steam rolling that poor guy on floor already.
Who cares for the heart?!

It is difficult to dislike the character of a kid, but I will dislike Soha if she forces Sona to get back with Dev. It's only hurt waiting for her there
Now even Dev will join the gang with his family

It's natural for the child to desire that both her parents be together and there is nothing to dislike the child for it. It is the parents fault to bring the child in an unstable relationship and then expect the child to understand their majbooris or complexities of relationships.

Further if Sonakshi in spite of knowing the Dixit family agrees to live with them just because Soha says so, it's her fault. It's never ever the child's fault.

But I have a feeling that Dev this time around won't be so gullible and won't give such a long rope to his family. He knows the price of it now. Further he is a Dixit and perfectly capable of putting his own interests first. Last time he had not imagined that Sonakshi would leave him else he would not have been so lax.

My request is that we should wait and watch for that part to come.

Also Soha would soon realise the true face of ishwari if she misbehaves with Sonakshi and would start disliking her. Children are not stupid. In today's episode Soha happily allowed Mr Dixit to go and catch the snake but didn't want her mummy to go. That speaks volumes about the child.
