The makers are hammering the fact that Dev is handsome. Agreed . But the handsomeness appeals to a certain extent only after that it has to be the character.

Dev's character is nowhere near characters like Loki,Moriarty or the new Star Wars baddie Kylo Ren.He is not as dark as them I admit.But he has committed some disgusting and awful acts which cannot be overlooked just because he is a handsome.The manner in which he has wronged Sonakshi is terrible.And at this stage Sonakshi romancing the same man who stalked,bullied,insulted,humiliated,emotionally and verbally abused her would be pukeworthy.

Many a times Dev's actions are justified by bringing his difficult childhood into the picture.But if childhood difficulties are the only reason why his present wrongs should be overlooked then Voldemort deserves all the sympathy in the world.He too had a traumatic childhood.His father rejected him even before his birth,ditched his mother,his mother died etc.Does that justify his crimes??

Regarding Devakshi,I am sure that every person who has watched the show must have shipped Devakshi at a point.Even I loved them till the first 100 episodes.Then slowly I saw their relationship going on a downward slide.At this point it's non existent.Like Husna said,if Dev pays the price for his crimes and redeems himself then there would be no problem in shipping Devakshi.But now there is no reason to ship them at all.And Dev's good looks are definitely not a proper reason.

Mah, that's not the point of the post at all. It essentially means you can't and you should not be allowed to get away with anything and everything on the basis that you happen to be good looking. The exact opposite of that is applied in this show.
