More than him wanting her support...he wanted to support her , be with her and correct every mistake that happened in the past but when in trouble and when he feels cheated ...he is a man of less words...he always tries to take the pain to himself...he did the same here...

That reminds me of Soha...I feel Soha has got this character of Dev to hide the pain and look happy in front their mom..She felt guilty of talking to Dev as she had promised her mom that she wont meet him,...and she didnt tell the truth to Sona thinking that she will feel bad.

In dhono ke beech mein dooriyan zyadha hogaya...Sona wanted to hug Dev when she understood his mom had again caused problems betwn them...but she didnt know if he would push her away...she didnt want to get hurt again...

And then when she was going , he wanted to ask her to stay back and pull her towards him...like the way he used to do before...but he was scared as he knew he had hurt her a lot and didnt want to hurt her more.

I think Dev wanted to stop Sonakshi at that moment & he needed her support. Hope Sona help Dev & Soha to meet and bond with each other.
