why are we fighting here. if sona is at fault for not using a right means to get in touch with dev after more than a year, then why do we forget to question what were the efforts from his side within this 1 year.
so basically it turns out that the harsh words that they hurled at each other where not out of the random but because of their frustration with each other. they are soo fixed on the last day and forgot everything about what they shared previously.was it that they were so shattered that they could never get hold of the pieces?well what ever is said and done, forever Dev can never say anything against his mom. woh kehta to bhi kya kehta.

@bold... because Sona knew they had a child together whereas Dev did not.Dev reaching out to Sona would be an act to reconcile them as a couple. That is something he can choose or choose not to do. There is no obligation to do it. Same with Sonakshi doing something to reconcile them as a couple. There is no expectation for her to do that either. But she went there not as a wife but as a mother to deliver on her child's rights. That is something she had a responsibility to do. Her attempt would've been more believable if she didn't continue to hide the child after returning to town and particularly after Dev almost dying. But as she told Jatin she was afraid of losing Soha. Its a very reasonable fear and understandable but she is still accountable for allowing that fear to dictate her. I really liked Dev today saying to Ishwari that even if he has keep himself away for his child's happiness he would. That to me is a better example of a parent. Because a parent doesn't own a child... they are the guardian for the child's well being. The fact that Soha is so disturbed by breaking a promise to her mother suggests a degree of co-dependenacy within Sona and Soha's relationship that isn't fair to Soha. The most important thing Dev needed to say to Ishwari was about protecting Soha's well being even at the expense of themselves. And he said that.
