Ishwari : The pre-cap question to Dev had my thoughts in turmoil. From a possessive mother to a manipulative and selfish woman who refuses to believe that her son has changed.She still wants to keep Sonakshi at bay as she is scared of losing her son. Where does this lead Ishwari to? What makes her confident that the girl she chooses for Dev would not make life hell for the family? I recall Dev was given an opportunity by Ishwari to live separately with Sonakshi - (a subsequent dialogue which caused misunderstanding and separation of the lead characters) - a chance which Dev refused to take, owing to his selfless persona. Whats stops him now?

I always wanted Ishwari to change - pre-leap - which unfortunately didn't happen. Its not too late for the Creatives to take the big step.

As you have rightly posted, seeing Dev -Sonakshi discuss past issues made it look that they were never apart. Big smile The depth of understanding of each others flaws made her fears and insecurities come back all over again. What if Ishwari follows Dev to find out if her son is meeting Sonakshi in private? LOL Then she finds Dev going to a school and meeting Suhana!! Vicky and XGKB are hell-bent on creating trouble, so it shouldn't be surprising that Vicky finds out about Suhana and again poisons Ishwari's mind. Here is where the role reversal should happen. Ishwari learns about parenting and its beauty, when Dev spends time with Suhana and is extremely happy. She probably realises all her mistakes when Dev decides not to push for Suhana's custody. "Kuch Rang Pyar ke Aise Bhi!"

On the other hand, there could be Dev using his trademark "tumhe hurt karne ka adhikaar sirf mujhe hain" to heart and threatening Sonakshi that he would fight for Suhana. After bitter confrontations, scenes, dialogues, comes the one and only,'Socho agar main aisa pati hota toh!" The relationship shared by Dev-Sonakshi has been a roller-coaster ride, but both seem to have landed safely. They are tearing into each other hearts but don't want to give in - not yet.

Edits : Dev has told Ishwari in plain words to stay out of his life and stop interfering. She doesn't listen and her justification has always been that she wants her old Dev back. When would she realise that the old Dev would be back only if Ishwari changes or Sonakshi/ Suhana are back in Dev's life. The latter may not happen, but the former is a possibility which depends on solely what the Creatives want!!!!

no matter what Dev says it never changes Ishwari's opinion so its best he keeps quiet otherwise Ishwari will just hate Sonakshi even more blame her even more
