I am late to read this one...but thoroughly enjoyed...very emotional...I liked the way Dev explained his pain to Sonakshi...not many a times we get to hear fathers version of pain...about missing their kids childhood...this is so beautifully written...I wish in our serial also we get Dev to speak openly to Sonakshi ...not hiding his pain...he needs to voice out his pain to her ...only then she can understand him better...and in this story he has just done that !! 👏 ⭐️

Fathers, I have always wondered are those silent pillars of support, whose emotional contribution is often not counted...His anger is talked, his financial support is talked... But very less a father can sit and tell how much his heart melted at the thought of his little child at home, playing alone, or with the child's mother and stuff... By the time he comes home, the kid is off to bed... A father loses 6 days a week of his child's childhood to catch up on every 7th day... He doesn't have Monday Blues for he needs to go to the office, he has Monday blues because he will have to wait for another weekend to shut off his work and open his arms for his child to share a bit of his childhood and rub that off on a wearing-off father's tiredness...
It takes for an understanding mother who knows even when the father doesn't speak, what he is going through... She digs into those spaces of the heart he never opens up, and he bares his heart about how he feels he is missing his child's childhood- "Kya aisa nahi ho sakta ki main usko apne saamne dekhoon? Har roz? har pal?"
That's not just Dev's irony, but every father's...😳
PS: Nearing Women's Day, I getting as emotional as it is "Father's Day"😆 Sorry for my overflowing emotions...😆
