Everyone is worried ....

Everyone is worried after seeing the precap! They're all assuming the story would become a full circle as Sonakshi would become another Ishwari.

Let me tell you, Sonakshi can never be Ishwari! Every mom is a little insecure but not an obsessive compulsive as Ishwari is as a mom. Ishwari repeatedly said to Sonakshi that you would know what a mother goes through when you yourself become one. True, to some extend as Sonakshi is also a single mom as Ishwari was but Sonakshi has sane people around her to advise her. She had moms like Asha and Dadi to look up to for advise and support as opposed to Ishwari who had the likes of Radha Rani for support.

We can already see Sonakshi's upbringing in how independent Soha is. We saw that in the opening scene after the leap itself, how Sonakshi has let Soha make all her decisions on her own.

That being said Sonakshi would be justified in being a little insecure and I'll explain why. Dev understands Sonakshi well and he knew she would not be ok after separation so his justification to her being fine is the fact that she became a businesswoman so came his dialogue ... "mera sath nahi mila toh meri jaisa ban ke mera sath hone ka ehsas rakhna chahti ho" He is right to some extend Sonakshi would never have been ok but the reason she was fine after the break up due to the presence of Soha. She had Dev's ehsaas, his presence in her life not because she became like him but because of Soha who is a part of him and whose presence compensated for Dev's absence in her life.

That is why her fear in the precap is quite justified because if Dev takes away Soha from her. She would be left with no other reason to be ok or in other words she would once again be the lifeless "surajmukhi"
