The First Time We Met

DEV'S POV:

It was 14^th of February. We met for the first time in Joseph Baptista Gardens in Mumbai. We were meeting for the first time in the prospective of marriage. We got arranged by my mother and her father. She had seen 5-6 guys before me but she was the first girl I had seen.

There she was standing wearing a simple curidar. It was love at first sight for me.

"Hi! I'm Sonakshi Bose but you can call me Sona." She spoke.

"Hi! I'm Devrath Dixit but you can call me Dev." I replied back with a sheepish grin.

"Dev I wanted to tell you something before we moved ahead"

"Sure go ahead"

"Actually Dev you are not the first guy I'm seeing as my prospective husband. I have seen 5-6 guys before you"

"I know that Sona. But if we do move ahead in this relationship, I promise the number of guys you have seen before will not affect us."

SONA'S POV:

The minute he said that I knew he was the one for me. We spent the rest of the day enjoying and roaming around. We went to a nearby restaurant to have our lunch. I was late afternoon when we went back to our houses after exchanging our phone numbers. We used to talk everyday which made me fall in love with him even more. By the time February ended I was head over heels in love with him.

THIRD PERSON:

It was 24^th of March, Sona's birthday.

"Miss Sonakshi Bose will you spend your entire life with me? Will you be the only Mrs. Devrath Dixit?" Dev finally popped the question.

"Yes!" Sona answered with tears in her eyes.

Dev went and hugged her. The wedding was fixed on 7^th of July. Dev and Sona spent the time of their courtship with joyous memories.

Soon it was the day. The day Dev and Sonakshi became DEVAKSHI. After Sona's bidaai both Dev and Sona proceeded towards Dev's house with Dev consoling her.

"Sona please stop crying. You know I can't see you crying. You can go and visit them whenever you feel like. I will never stop you." Dev said trying to console Sona.

After listening to Dev, Sona was sure that she had made the right decision. They reached Dixit mansion and did the post-wedding rituals.

"chalo chalo abhi inn dono ko sone do. Dono thak gaye hongey." Ishwari announced.

Ria, Nikki and Neha led their bhabhi to her room. Sona was surprised seeing the room decorated beautifully. They left after making Sona sit on the bed.

"Bhabhi enjoy your night." Nikki said teasingly before she closed the door leading Sona to blush furiously.

Dev entered the room after bargaining from his three sisters on their nek. Seeing Sona he just couldn't help himself and went and sat next to her. Holding her hands, Dev said "you looked so beautiful today. So ethereal. Just mine."

Saying so Dev proceeded to make her his in all senses possible. After a blissful lovemaking they both slept in each other's embrace. They left the next day for their honeymoon to Goa.

Then one day after one year of their marriage.

"Dev tum kahan ho?" Sona said excitedly.

"Office main hoon. Kuch kaam tha?" Dev asked oblivious to her excited voice.

"kya tum abhi ghar aa sakte ho? Mujhe tumhe kuch batana tha."

"main bas 10 mins main aaya."

In their room:

"batao Sona tumne mujhe itne urgently kyon bulaya?"

"Dev tum papa ban ne vale ho!"

"what????"

"haan maine blood test karvaya tha tab pata chala"

"OMG Sona I'm so happy"

Dev hugged Sona tightly. After breaking the news to the entire family everyone started to fuss over Sona.

After 7 months(pregnancy diagnosed in the 2^nd month):

"Congratulations Mr. Dixit. Your wife has given birth to a healthy baby girl via C-section." The doctor announced.

She handed over the baby to him.

"Dev kya naam rakhoge iss pyaari si jaan ka?" Ishwari asked holding her granddaughter in her arms.

"Suhana Dev Dixit." Dev announced.
