You are right. I stand corrected. Ishwari's lectures are only for ANY WOMAN unfortunate enough to be in Dev's life. 😆

I disagree here. Ishs lectures are only for Sona Devs wife. According to ish Elena is a wonderful bahu! Her rules are only for poor Sona!

But what is the need for a new entry to be a good friend to Sona? do they think the TRP's will rise? i will guarantee it will fall even more.. they just lose the plot.. we long to see maturity in the two leads but even after 250 episodes, the damn word itself seems to be lost.

Great points!
Loved the verbal punching Dev gave to the eternally insecure Ishwari...terrified that Sonakshi will return in Dev's life
Great to see that Dev can see his mother's faults and doesnt think of her as his Ishwari Goddess anymore. Chalo, late realization but better late than never.😆

Their names are so symbolic too...Dev and Ishwari, both suffering from God Complex.

And Sonakshi with the beautiful eyes, who sees everything with clear vision, straightforward and simple.

Ishu is the height of double standards from the beginning, it was one set of rules for her wayward spoiled daughter Neha, another set of rules for her bahu...typical saas there, all MILs are like that 😆

Of course, Elena is not her Bahu. It is her over possessiveness of Dev that makes her behave like this to some extend.
On a different note though I would really want to know Elena's reasons of not supporting the Bose family. Was it her pregnancy or just the fact that she never was as strong as she claimed to be or at least portrayed to be.

That is one of the mysteries even I would like the answer to. But o don't expect much just like khatri, ranveer, the boses pretty neighbor. Looks like they have disappeared into the black hole which inhabits most Hindi serials!

It's strange just like Neha elenas charachter has done a total turnaround. Probably vickys love would have kept her here! Foolish girl.

Amazing analysis specially the return of everything even namaste .And finally Dev truly understands his mother but had paid a heavy penality in the process.

Good point. In fact, Ishwari's advices and metaphorical lectures were never applicable to her own daughters. It's always for the daughter-in-law. She did the same when she advised Sonakshi to sort out her marital problems in Sasural and not to drag it to maika while her own daughter dragged her marital problem to divorce court and settled in maika.

I believe marriage needs work from both sides. But even if we could give Ishwari some leeway for being old fashioned, she fails again due to her double standard.

A proverb in tamil goes like this: maamiyar udacha mankalam, mattupon udacha vengalam meaning : if a vessel is broken by the daughter - in- law, it will be called precious vessel(brass) being broken; but if the mother - in - law breaks the same vessel it will be called a mud pot( cheap so worthless) . This is the essence of Ishwari's double standards
