Very true.. And adding to this, there was another indirect taunt to his mother, when Golu says he would pray that all wishes of Dev's saviour come true. Dev replies looking at Ishwari, "Nai nai, problem ho jaygi. Kya pata kab kya mang le!"...
Dev seems to know well that Sona's wishes would contradict Ishwari's.😆
