A child calling a parent a best friend is heard of but a parent calling a child a best friend is extremely mature form of relationship. That is why it was so special.

Thanx to Dida for all her Sanskars imbibed in both of them!👏👏

Even Dev and Sona were at one time shown to have signs of this, but for the blind spot of Dev for 'his' family

I liked three scenes today...

1) Dev and Ishwari - when kids are looked upon as kids even after they grow up...and when you hold them tight that the child finds it difficult to breath , they break free and start hiding things. There was never an open discussion here...it was always Ishwari dominating /manipulating / holding Dev's emotions
2) Sona and Asha - An absolute contrast from the above scenario...Asha's trust in her upbringing and life lessons allows her to be her daughters best friends...she allows her to take decisions in life and learn from it...and their lives are open book to each other...with full of respect , trust , love and warmth.
3) IShwari and Asha - As usual Ishwari trying to make her son's life easy...but in reality she is trying to make her own life easy. She doesn't want Sona to be back in her son's life as she knows the out come. She thinks she will loose her son again...but the reality is ...she has already lost him 7 years back...Ishwari tries to taunt Asha by saying that Sona never listens to her...but Asha is not the kind who would start barking at every other word that is thrown at her...her education and her class was shown ..Asha stood her ground.. by saying she will not question her daughter as she trust her daughter decisions...which also means she has confidence in her upbringing ...

Ishwari FAILED to get Asha to agree...( My thought...did she think ever one is going to fall for her emotional dram or taunts ??!!)

All these three scenes are connected with the word called ..mother and upbringing ... This also proves...Only a strong mom can help her kids to blossom into matured and sensible adults. FOr kids to blossom you need to give them space , time , and experience...Sadly Ishwari didn't ...pity!![/QUOT
Yeah, real pity.. but I think when you say strong mom, you actually mean a wise mom! I have seen mothers from poor families bring up their kids so well because the learnt from life wisdom and transferred that wisdom on to their kids.

I just loved that scene n how proudly Asha sat on Sona's chair...n their matured n respectful conversation was a treat to watch. I always wanted that Asha shud be given more screen space bcoz her character is just so balanced n grounded. Hoping to see much better scenes between Asha, Sona n Soha

I loved that scene too. If Asha hadn't tried to be friends with Ishwari I'd have appreciated the scene more because then it would have more meaning for me. Ishwari taunted Asha and then she remembered how Ishwari behaved with Sonakshi. Sonakshi and Bijoy (and also Dida) are so loyal to Asha. But she is not as loyal to them as they are to her. I was disappointed in Asha today.

What!!! I didn't get u .
Asha is most matured person in Bose family she listens calmly and she can't make enemies she is classy women .
Asha confronted sona to talk that's all she did and with ishwari also she was matured enough to put some sense to that psycho its that Asha is broad minded person and go with the flow of persons mind set.
When ish said some hurtful things to her and her motherhood she too answered her back in nice way not hurting that psycho

She doesn't have to hurt anyone. But she started the conversation with, "Namaste Ishwari ji." This is the woman who ruined her daughter's marriage and insulted her husband. What was the need for her to even talk to her, let alone even remember that they ever had any relationship? Where's her loyalty to the two most important people in her life who both suffered due to this woman?

I had blamed Dev when he approached Sonakshi first instead of letting her live her life and him living his own life. I have to blame Asha for doing the same. I love Bose family. They are good people. But if I blame one person for doing something, I can't ignore that on another if they do the same thing. Asha should have let the murky waters remain as is. Ishwari was not talking to her. She gave her that opening.
