Watched the episode yesterday and before entering the forum i had a different thought. But after reading a lot many posts i was thinking am i wrong... Is it that i actually got it wrong and what the conversation actually about is written in the forum. Yesterday when i visited the Social media websites all the reactions were the same as of mine... Their thoughts were similar to mine about that conversation.
Now coming to the whole conversation. Here it goes:
It all started when Dev said he cannot trust anybody as his company deals with transactions in Crores and Sona's company is a newbie.
Sona: Toh tum abhi bhi... Mujhe aur mere logo ko chor keh rahe ho.
Dev: Zamana bahot kharab hai. Kuch kaha nahi ja sakta. Kisi pe yakeen nahi kiya ja sakta. Aur waise bhi tum toh kuch nahi se bahot kuch ban gayi ho. Mujhe kya pata tumhe kya kya karna pada hoga. (Looking into the conversation they were talking about theft and fraud.. Sona said he thinks they have done theft and fraud to reach this position and to me the answer was YES, but in a sarcastic tone.)
Sona: Tum Apni hadd paar kar rahe ho... So sad. Crores se achchi niyat aur soch nahi kharidi ja sakti.. Islie tumhari soch itni choti hai. I know ye choti soch kaha se aarahi hai. (Here the reference is to the past incidence when Dev's family called Bijoy Bose thief... And Sona made it clear, the way his family once accused her father of theft, Dev is doing the same thing today with Sona and this has come from his family.)
Tumne bhi gareebi dekhi... Struggle kiya.. Hai na... Pata nahi kya kya kiya hoga apne paiso ke liye. Islie aap soch rahe ho na ke sab aapki tarah hai. (Bang she gave a reply, that even he must have done frauds to reach the place and that's the reason he thinks all are like him.)
This is what i have been thinking since yesterday and is completely opposite to what the forum is talking about... I believe Dr. Sonakshi Bose is a strong, independent woman... And in these 7 years she has become stronger. She is not the one to take any crap on her character. Whether it is coming form Dev Dixit or anybody else... If at all he would have done that Sonakshi would have slapped him right away and she's much more capable of doing that. And calling on someone's character is not "Chhoti Soch" it is called "Ghatiya and Giri Huyi Soch"... If it would have been said in that context she would have been disgusted and would have slapped him and also showed the disgust.
I know this may be only my thought about the conversation. But this is it... What i felt is what i shared. You may agree and may disagree.
I have seen a lot many comments mocking the people with a different point of view... I just want to say that if someone has a completely opposite way of thinking, you don't have to agree to them... Show your disagreement... But mocking them and calling their POVs kiddish and thinking you are the only mature ones and getting the things right. Come on... try to accept the people around you even if they are different... You are calling a fictional character "A Bully" and here you are mocking the real people because of them having a different set of thinking.
I have read that the younger generation will not find the faults in the conversation. I don't belong to that... I am mature enough to have my own point of view and i don't get influenced by anything. So here is what i felt... You may agree and you may not... But i have watched this conversation a lot many times and tried to think if at all it is going the other way round. But for me it doesn't seem like.
I am sure you all are Strong Women... But Dr. Sonakshi Bose too is a strong woman and she has achieved a position for herself all on her own... She's no way gonna take any crap on her character and if at all it would have been calling on her character, i repeat she would have slapped the man right away and would have shown her disgust too.
