Same contrast is shown between Suha and Golu , where Suha gives confident to her mother that she can handle her own problems whereas Golu clutching his bigcha to come and be his savior !!👏

Yeah and the Bigcha is going to go to school to tackle Golu's trouble. Wonder who will tackle whom in that scene. 😆

Sona's identity :

So sona redecorates her office space with high commands as orders (yes standing on top of a table in high heels as well😆 must say pleasing to watch😉) much to the admiration of Dev😳. And the precap happens along with the handshake too..so far so good 😆

And no torn jeans or long / short skirts. Poora tanda paani daal diya costume designers ne aaj toh!! 😆

The name change sends Dev to edges and Vicky uses the perfect opportunity again😡 He challenges to remove Sona and Dev promises entire company in exchange ( Dev confront your feelings instead of falling to these nasty people tricks😡 )

Nah.. I think here Dev is completely sure of Vicky's failure. He wouldn't take that kind of a chance with his company even if there is a 1% chance that Vicky would succeed. Whether he is sure of Stubborn Sona or Stupid Vicky... I have no clue.😆 But yeah... we can expect some bullying and dirty tricks from Vicky. 😡

And Vicky asks his mom to use Elena as bait for Sona's exit. ( I so wish Elena thrash him for good, but looking her commitment to Dixit family, am dreading her safety now.😕 )

Don't. Say. It. Don't give ideas to the CVs. Please!!

Till here I thought Sona have completely moved on compared to Dev but when Dev flirted with her associate while she was hurrying (out to pick up Bijoy and Asha who lands in Delhi surprisingly), the irrigation on her face said it all and Dev got his clarification as well😆.

His - mein Dev aap Paro - cracked me up!! 😆

Dev : I agree we couldn't stay together in a house but finally after 7 yrs when i get a chance i won't waste it "😲😲 and hammers the partition wall breaking "Sonakshi Bijoy Bose" name plate !!

Me: This is what happens when you keep harping "Iam Mrs.Dixit for you" Sona😆 Now he is possessive about you and your name and he doesn't want that identity to change. Get ready for another "Dev ki Deewangi" 😉

quite a contradictory person. He calls her Ms Bose but has issues seeing the name written on the board.😕 He doesn't want the wall. He doesn't want that name. But he gave Vicky free rein to kick her out.😕 And they say women are complicated creatures!!😡 Go figure!! 😆

Quite a confusing episode to watch with respect to Dev but pretty interesting for deep analysis, have fun with it 😉 have a great weekend buddies 🤗

@havima, I felt whatever he said to Vicki was deliberate. Each of his actions have some reason behind it and I think Vicki is walking into a well laid trap. With Sona it was not intentional but spur of the moment decisions.

Both dev and episode is confusing.his eyes show s softness to her but the talk with vicky was such a contradiction.and his anger and talk with ish again tells different story.

Hey Deeps ..amazing post...regarding Dev...I have no clue...not sure why he broke the wall...was it her name as Dr. Sonakshi Bijoy Bose...or the partition...I thought he didnt want to meet her frequently ...he even asked Vicky to kick her out and if he does , then everything is his...having said that why does he want the partition to be out...

I am confused...thank you CV team ...now we all have something to think for the weekend...😕

I think here he is clear by himself with the talk with Sona...

Where he offered her cheque n she refused him straight...

That she is not going to leave that place...

But he may want to bring out Vicky's real self..

He still remembers m sure that night Vicky lied him n threw Sona n her family out...

Also he knows that he was the one who was asked to throw the prenup papers out n papers returned back to him in Sona's hands...

Deep down he is also aware of ele being away from her family n knows the love she has for Bose...

So he may b sure that this may bring them face eachother...

Hope I have made some sense...

Will b loved to b corrected / guided if m wrong or mistaken anywhere...

Great post and a great place for discussion.

Firstly , I don't think Sona was jealous seeing Dev flirt with Paro .

Why ?? Reason is as follows..

1. She clearly can see Dev is doing all this to rile her up . Or else the timing and place would've different and much more private. I mean who flirts with the Employee in front of her boss , unless kahi pe nigahein kahi pe nishana

2.Let's say for thought exercise sake , we replace Dev with another random businessman who shares the office with her , with whom she shares no kind of past whatsoever , just strictly professional relationship.

Done replacing in that way in our minds ??

I'd say she'd have been equally if not more annoyed by seeing her employee , who she gives salary flirting and getting lost with this man , forgetting about her work . Woww height of unprofessionalism .

In Beyhadh Maya had immediately fired one of her employees for this same mistake , Sona is too good I guess to do that. Or may be if she fires that girl , Dev , being full of I me myself will think that she did it because she's jealous and that'd definitely stroke his already over inflated ego. That's why she left soon , brushing it under the carpet.

Contrary to popular notion doing rounds in the forum , that Dev is upset with the name and sign board , I've a few different opinions .

The cup fell and broke from his hands ( and he didn't bother for facade there , in fact he was looking straight eye to eye at Sonakshi So me feels it was not about anger due to possessiveness over the name Sonakshi Dixit. ) , he got shocked that Sonakshi is still a maiden , who hasn't remarried like Ishwari was suggesting . Also because it showed Sonakshi's pride in Bose identity , which Dev hates . That's why he remembered that dialog in the cabin , his own dialog , " You can never earn so much money by ghaas phus ... in your entire life time. " Because Sonakshi Bijay Bose has proven him wrong that too in style and that board with red and gold imprinting was a living proof of that.

I want to clarify that I am not a pro of any character, be it Dev or Sona or Ishwari. Only thing is I can understand them and hence express my views that way. It does not mean that I don't see their faults or that I am ok with whatever they do.

Dev is both a complex and a simple character at the same time. 😊. It is not that hard to understand him... There is only one truth for him that is HE LOVES SONAKSHI. Even now his love is not reduced. In fact it has become even more passionate than what it was before.

Love is the only emotion which can be spoken with adjectives. We say passionate love, obsessive love, cute love, teenage love etc. But we rarely say cute angry or teenage sad etc. Love is a very strong emotion and lot of other emotions stem from it.

Recently I read this article in Readers Digest about a women who lost more than $350 K to a stranger because of a scam of love. She was a person in her late 40s and one of her friends suggested that she look for companionship using a dating site. She did and fell for a guy who did not really exist. She ended up believing whatever he said even though she never met him. Even when her friends and relatives tried to tell her otherwise, she was not ready to listen. Finally when she opened her eyes, she had given than $350 K to that stranger. When that guy who was scamming was caught in Africa, he turned out to be a guy in his twenties. When asked why he said "love is one of the strongest emotion in the world. When love comes into picture, logic goes out the window. It can make a person do unimaginable things and go to unbelievable lengths to prove their love". He said he just capitalized on that.

It is very true that if love can give a person wings to fly and be at the top of the world, it can also drag a person down to the very depths of the hell...

Dev is no different. Till Sonakshi came in his life, he did not really know what love meant. He did love his mother, but not in the way he loved Sonakshi. For him Sonakshi was his life, she was he himself. He felt pain when she was hurt. It was shown many times how Dev felt when Sonakshi was hurt. But he never felt that way with Ishwari. The best example of that is, in the first/second episode, Ishwari gets a burn on her hand. Dev is upset and he put medicine. He is not happy that she is in pain, but he does not actually feel that pain. With Sonakshi it was different. He felt her pain when she was hurt. In that Diwali episode when Sonakshi's feet is burnt, Dev is beside himself. He panics as though something really bad has happened to her. He even expresses it to her.

The main flaw(I think this way as it caused issues, but others might not feel this way. Sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings) of Sonakshi was her ability to mask her feelings. If she had shown even 1% of her hurt to Dev, he would have made sure of taking care of the cause. What I mean to say is she should have communicated to Dev of how hurt she felt when she heard taunts and insults from maami and also that Ishwari kept mum regarding that.

Maami might not insult Dev today or maybe even 7 yrs ago, but it is very clear that she would not have kept quiet when they were poor. Dev had to develop a thick skin and not show that he was hurt by maami's words. He in the course of time learned to tune her words out. For him maami was nothing but a barking dog. He thought Sonakshi knew and understood that. He assumed that Sonakshi also did not give any attention to what maami said.

If even once Sonakshi had shown that she is hurt by maami's words, Dev would have packed maami out or would have told her to not say anything against her. But Sonakshi did nothing of that sort. She did not let Dev in or show her vulnerability. She always projected that she is strong and Dev believed that.

Dev still does not know all the hurtful words and acts of maami and Vickky. But what he does know is that Sonakshi left him. For him he always wanted Sonakshi to reciprocrate the same way he did. He said that once too in Shimla, when he bites her finger. He says "you should also know how I feel when you say those hurtful words". In other words, you should feel pain too when I am hurt.

When Sonakshi was out of sight, he was not really affected so much. He would feel it, but would somehow cope with it(Still waiting to see if they show any of these FB scenes). But now that Sonakshi is in front of him, he is no longer able to control his hurt.

From Dev's perspective, he was hurt when Sonakshi left him. So Sonakshi should be hurt too. It is the same thing he thought during the first break up. He was like how could Sonakshi do this to me. How can she move on, when I haven't moved on. I mean we both love each other. So if I feel what she feels, then she should feel what I feel(this is Dev's perspective, not mine 😆).

Since the leap and their meeting, Dev is looking for that hurt in her. He wants to see if she was equally or more pained than he was. He knows it was living death for him. But was it the same for her. He is desperately looking for that. If Sonakshi shows that she is affected even a little by Dev, that she is hurt too, Dev will back down. But until she does, he will keep doing erratic things, just to get a reaction, whatever that may be...

Previously he had paid a guy to call Sonakshi to a restaurant to see if she remembers her past. Now he is trying to use Vickky. He is angry with himself that he is feeling hurt. Since Sonakshi is not showing that hurt, she must have not really loved me is what Dev is thinking.

Like someone said in their post, Dev is just throwing a temper tantrum. He just needs Sonakshi's "samjhana" and he will start behaving normally. They need to have a conversation similar to the one they had in Dev's office after Sonakshi-Ritwick date...That will happen when the truth of maami and Vickky's actions come out.

Vickky on the other hand is set to fail if he thinks he can use Eleena. Looks like he is going to lose his family now. Also maamiji better beware. If she continues eating fried stuff with her BP, she will have a real heart attack in the near future...😈 😈

Thank you for an unbiased post regarding todays episode !!!! High points of todays episodes for me

Dev's argument to Ishwari regarding his sentiments towards his office - All the while he was mentioning about his sacrifices from childhood and hardwork , and how its kind of became his identity , Ishwari doesnt give a damn but use the oppertunity to remind him that once his identity was about her . 👏👏👏

Ishwari doesnt care about Vicky's "mistake" as long as it doesnt involve Sona in Dev's life 😕 So much for honoring Dev's hardwork, its no big deal if Dev lost his office or his hard earned money !!!!

(Too bad he was tired of the guilt trips , and dismissed her !!! )

The way Sona n Dev handled the kids - we could see the vast contrast, bravo Sona !!! (So "Cricket" came back to Dev's life now 😛 )

(Bijoy is really getting on my nerves now !!! )

Dev's challange to Vicky - Come on I would say Dev knows Sona better . Remember Tina - Dev convo " Have you ever seen any other person as headstrong as her " "Ofcourse, you sir " 😆

He knows Vicky is no match for her 😆 And whatever Vicky is gonna do , Sona is not going anywhere 😉

Sonakshi Bijoy Bose - The name that reminds him now , of their failed relationship , what he lost ..

No wonder he was upset hearing that ...
