Coming to Dev, is there any doubt? He is as spineless as one can get... bloody hell he could not win over Sona after the first break up. His mother had to intervene.. if he truly had the guts and the spine he would have done it himself...

The problem with the two most important women of his life is they never give him the opportunity to think peacefully and react .They are always one step ahead of him in taking control of his life .Ishwari without wasting her time went to Sonakshi's home next day after her engagement broke . Sona rejected the offer and Dev wanted to take it easy and not stalk her like before but but mommy had different plans .Ab Banda kare bhi to kya kare ..if he wants to think n react he is not given a chance and he becomes spineless but if we decide to react before his two most imp women he is impulsive .
