Yes.
That is exactly what yesterday's episode asked us to do.
To wrack our brains into oblivion.
Starting right from Ishwari accusing Sonakshi of "destroying" her family. But Mamaji had already said that in the last episode before the leap remember? "Apni bahu ko rok le nahin toh tera sara ghar bikhar jayega"
I wonder why he didn't repeat that yesterday. I had expected him to defend Sonakshi but he didn't do it.
Sometimes, I don't really understand Mamaji at all.
Then came the scene where Dev and Sonakshi got into the car to leave for their hotels after a final face off. They both exited through different directions reminding me of the last scene before the leap.
Before I talk about the most important character at this point let me talk about Sonakshi.
I was really surprised that she told Soha about the award fiasco. Yes, she didn't tell her about it being her dad who did all of it. But still. She really does not believe in keeping her daughter in the dark. It's good how she shares these things with Soha making way for her to take future decisions on her own.
Also now Bijoy has a "jasoos"😆
Typical Baba bose waali harkat hai yeh toh.
But Asha has always been the most sensible out of all the Boses, hasn't she?
So kal bhi she did just that.
But don't know how much Bijoy will listen to her.😆
Kyunki after all unki Shona ka sawaal hai.😆😆
Also Sonakshi returned the trophy back to Dev. I knew she would after reading what was in the letter. Both Dev and Sonakshi are at a point where they think they hate each other, but they actually don't.
And she didn't scold Soha for wanting to click a photograph with it. Instead explained. She really is being a great mother. Ironically the opposite of what Dev had said to set her free.
Finally we come to Dev.
His laugh in the car while coming to the hotel, his way of saying "ek akru aur badtameez ladki ko mel raha tha. Maine le liya" showed just how much he still loves Sonakshi. He looked genuinely proud of her.
His way of talking to the receptionist to annoy her. His humming a song and smirking at Sonakshi in the elevator. And finally his knocking on that door while looking at Sonakshi all showed how he wanted her to get angry. To react. To get upset. Taaki ussey bhi utna hi farak padhey jitna Dev ko padta hai.
Yesterday's episode has a lot of mysteries.
People might once again be out to kill Dev because that girl talked of Casual relationships and the receptionist made it clear that Dev was a regular at the Hotel.
But that in no way proves that he had ever been in a physical relationship with anyone. Firstyly. casual relationship could just mean he goes on dates with her. Because going by Dev's reactions yesterday, the way he ignored the girl, the way he shrugged off her touch, it told us a lot of things.
He cannot be comfortable with anyone else's touch. All he sees is Sonakshi whenever he thinks of LOVE.
Also yesterday was just a small part of the bigger picture. And judging Dev on the basis of that part would be unfair.
So the point is, Dev may want to show that he goes around with a new girl everyday, but that is all just a facade.
That Dev is too broken to handle any kind of relationship. It will be Sona for him forever.
Things are getting more interesting each day.
So I'll just sit back and enjoy and wait for that moment when the CVs make the jackpot move, meaning the entry of Soha into Dev's life.
Filhaal toh I'm going to ponder on the fact that SONAKSHI IS GOING TO GET DEV ARRESTED!
