I am not sure why people are so mad. This is most close to reality they are showing. Men are like that. Well I would say exactly like Dev. Men like Dev always wants to believe what they want to believe. His holding on to the fact that Sonakshi is reason for their breakup shows how immature he is.
Moreover about casual flings..this is reality. The kind of passionate and deep relationship Dev shared with Sonakshi is hard to forget and its more difficult for guys to truly come out of it. I am not saying he is in love with her or not but his indulging in casual flings is what guys do after such a heavy breakup. They indulge in emotionalless physical flings because they are scared to be in relationship again and be hurt again.
It's not only true for guys but for girls too. Its hard for girls to trust someone else too but they still have more ability to actually fix their broken heart and life. Sonakshi did exactly that. On the other hand Dev is still unfixed, immature and still hurting. He can never move on like this. I have personally seen guys hanging on their feeling for such a long time. Guys only show they are macho but in emotional aspects of life, they are very weak specially if they were that involved like Dev.
I find it hard to believe when they show in other serials that guy is still waiting for that girl and have never indulged in casual flings. This does not happen in reality.
We are finding so hard to believe this behavior of Dev becoz we think him of as hero and we think hero will only do right things or take right actions. Dev is so real. Such a immature guy who still have not learnt anything from his past mistakes becoz he is not ready to accept that he did a mistake.
On the other hand Sonakshi have actually matured compared to Dev.
