Kolkata is birth place of Elena nd also asha's sister wud be living there. They have shifted to Kolkata not meeting their relatives nd Elena got completely detach wid Boses I agree but how come she detached wid her own mother. So how Elena knew nothing abt Boses is completely illogical.

But she had married someone nd her parents were mentioned as calling asha only never bothered whom she married so cv's lost this logic too.

Elena once she married Vicky she started slowly distancing herself from the Bose family

if you remember the time when Bijoy got slapped she did not even phone to enquire anything

now at present she dumps her responsibilities of her son on GKB and Dev

if she has no interest in her son then surely she had no interest in Sonakshi's life or the Bose family

they have never shown her talking to her mother so not sure about that

Yes this Elena connection is a blooper as per me...

It is really difficult to digest that Elena has not contacted the Bose family in all these years and that she doesn't know that Sona has a daughter! Also, she has never spoken to her own parents and vice versa in this entire course is humanly not possible...
