On the contrary she is lucky she is spared from such suffocating screwed upbringing of the Dixit. When he could leave Sona unceremoniously where is the guarantee he would b nice to his daughter. His love literally killed her mom , so she is better off him. She is at least brought up with true love of Sona unlike pretend love of Dev. I consider her lucky.
