I think you guys may be onto something.
It is a master stroke by the makers of this serial. How do we revive Dev from the dumps that they threw him make him a hero who sacrifices his love knowingly...that is why the inane dialogues of you cannot be another, you married for money yadda yadda
In one master stoke they redeemed him and made Sona misunderstand 😉😉

I think these dialogues were probably said by Dev to set Sona free from him & his family. He knows his mom is never going to accept Sona. I don't think that he's so insensitive to say & mean such things.
Like most people we like to pick up only the positive things & for a guy who was so in love with her I find those lines hard to swallow. Probably that's why he will not follow or stalk her anymore. That's why the kid will probably be a surprise for him.

Wonder how they will meet again? It will be very interesting & im looking forward to the leap.

I don't think so; whatever he said he said it out of anger and meant it; there is a saying when you are drunk you speak truth!! He spoke out his heart; after those hard-hitting words I can never imagine how would makers redeem that Egoistic Man; but nevertheless it's a show somehow cvs will convince viewers that Vicki nd RR did everything and Dev and Ishwari are innocent; am not saying Vicki and RR aren't at fault; they definitely are; But Dev is equally at fault; these hard-hitting words can never be forgotten or justified; he even dare to raise hand on Sona; after slapping FIL; he didn't learn his lesson; no way he can be Redeem; but we all know he would make puppy face and Sona would wholeheartedly accept him 😆

Actually it's difficult to believe that in just one episode Hero turned into full-fledged villian.

Why are people in so much denial ?? It's amazing how they can turn blind to all reasons and facts looking them straight in the face to defend the character Dev !!! Woww . Is it worth living in the world of delusion ??
Why not face the truth that Dev completely meant each and every thing he uttered ?? It's only that liquor and anger brought out his true face and things he kept hidden in his chest. Nothing more nothing less.

There is a saying we speak truth only when we are drunk; and that's what happened with Dev; Atleast after today's episode i don't think he can be Redeemed!!

Points against those who're saying Dev said all these to set Sona free-
1. Am I the only one who knows that it's simply not possible for a person this drunk to plan and craft false words with intention to cut her/him free ?? Liquor level in blood won't allow it .
2. Had his intention been so as suggested , then why he blabbered about trying once more ?? He should've simply said those words from the very beginning. Once Sona showed her tigress mode , he understood she won't be his toy any more , so he lost his desire to play with the toy and so as a last blow to save his own ego , tried to break the toy , ( too bad she's stronger than that. )
3. Why not sign the divorce papers so that she could actually move on and if she wishes so, the option of remarriage is open to her ??

Nah folks ! This is the real face of Dev Dixit. The sooner we get it the better off we'll be !
