Saumiee, how do manage to remain positive in the darkest hour. Your post is like the last string of hope for the show. I agree the characters were never butchered but given various dimensions. I strongly believe that there was no need of the leap and story could have have been proceeded without it.

I am really worried about the core elements of the characters, specially Dev. Dev a casanova is really hard to imagine, like really. If they would have shown Mr. abhodro back in action, the ruthless businessman then there was something to look forward. Now watching Dev zooming on bikes and flirting with girls, i dunno how we will be able to relate with him. It took lot of time, brain and heart to understand his complex character, to understand his actions and to see through his POV. And now again we have to see a Dev. I doubt this time we will get any time to relate with him or not.

And I am sure they will not tamper with Sona's character much. She will be busy saving her family, raising her kid and being a superwoman.

I really dunno what to expect now.

And your PS, the same thing i was telling to Nandu. No child please and no 7 year leap. Two year leap will be enough.

@ red..YES THATS MY MAJOR COMPLAINT..They could have set example for others..by keeping the the originality of the show with no time leap or character change

@blue This could have been done in 6 months time too yes exactly casanova Dev ..really I got connected to emotional loving family oriented mothr devoted Dev..he was different coz he had blind faith on Ishwari..He was different because he couldn't not leave Ishwari even after marriage..he isnt typical hero..he has flaws he has weaknesses but yet he is lovable and relatable to me..I felt his love for mothr what I can feel for mine..who in today's world is so madly devoted for their moht like Dev is ..but this characteristic of his made him stand out of all the hero's on TV..he isnt macho but he is soft and now making him flirty riding bikes..whats difference will be left then between him and others 😭

Thanks for such nice view ..in today's date when marriage is not more then a joke ..I have always believed in it and I can see I am not wrong if I do so..I havent seen any difficult marriages around me but I know ..couples struggle in their own way to lead a happy life..small issues conflicts happens on daily basis and how you deal with them is what makes a relationship successful..partners compromises for each other for family coz no its not their duty but they want to and whole heartedly they do it..its easy to break then to sustain..
I never felt Sonakahi's effort to make that house own as compromising on her self respect..because she genuinely wanted to be part of it..she cared for relationships..she wanted to complete not compete..she wanted to add happiness not to take away any..Dev too brought her happily and let her be coz he trusted her..he knew she is best
divorce is an easier solution ..specially when problems can be sorted out..here I didnt mind physical separation coz some times you need it..to revive it but this ugly divorce in drunk state with incomplete conversation is sad very sad

Well I don't know about new writer and everyone saying... Like who spread this news about new writer... I never read anywhere in any articles or its just a guess...because still now in today episode, durjoy dutta and ranbir Shekawat name is there at starting of show... So they r still part of show...
