I expected it from Elina. She has been shown selfish from the beginning . She was never on the ethical lines. Remember when during the separation time , she just changed sides and was so friendly with Ritwick. If she was loyal to her sister and Deb , then she would have tried to patch up things and not instigate one against another...
Self respect was very less for her ( we know it because when Dev broke Sona's phone , she wanted her to accept the new phone) ...she is very materialistic and self occupied too..
