Didn't I say that the love scene was there to offset the slap scene so that they don't lose major viewership for this episode!

A marketing gimmick by CVs/PH but clearly, it worked. They got viewers excited with the scene and the viewers tuned in tonight.

I have just one thing to say to/ask the PH...Now, can you get back to telling the kind of story you promised us instead of resorting to OTT story telling that isn't really fetching you TRPs please?

P.S - The love scene was well executed..tastefully done. But I was expecting conversation relevant to infertility track and Sona's current state of mind in terms of her infertility and Dev's take on the matter from the heart not the head and was disappointed on that front. More on this later in another post...

PPS - I am not saying I didn't enjoy the scene...how can I not when I am such a huge Devakshi and Sharica fan? I did, as a fan of ShaRica. But as Devakshi fan, I wanted more meaningful and emotional conversation. And that didn't happen which makes me believe all the more that this scene was added to the episode to offset the slap.

Marketing gimmick but it worked 😆 It was not to increase the TRP but so that they won't loose the remaining viewership 😆 But Sharica are love 😳

I looove Devakshi and I looovvveee Sharica. On that front this episode was no hardship for the likes of me but that scene should have meant more in the larger picture...especially since it followed Sonakshi's breakdown, her revelations of her fears and insecurities. Thankfully...my expectations are extremely minimal these days.

I loveddd devakshi being a die hard devakshi fan
But disappointed with the story telling
Was expecting them to have a heart to heart 😭 😭

Even i missed heart to heart conversation but venting out was also important. I didn't think this scene was added because of slap incident or TRP. It was in the flow and they got intimate because of their reasons not for baby mission.

And about TRP, well as far i have understood, Indian audience love drama. So drama loving uncles and aunties and even youngsters might love slap instead of love making. 😆

Like this point of urs - they got intimate for their own reasons n nt for baby. But somehow I didnt understand how Sona went from feeling like a carrier' n then in morning ..want to hug Ma..

I wud really want to chk TRP this week..if it changes at all. If it increases...good for PH bad for us coz then OTT drama wid further increase.

But like wat smone pointed out, its nt for trp but to retain existing audience n yes it worked...people who were skipping episodes definitely watched today's one.

They did not add the scene as an afterthought...that is not what I meant. I am saying that both scenes were shot to become a part of this episode, so that the viewers will tune in and TRP doesnt drop due to slap scene.

We have seen major OTT drama over the last two weeks but what good has it done. Isn't the TRP the same as the show that is going off air? The PH should know better than mess with the format that got them the loyal viewers.

Like I said, the trick worked. We tuned in to watch the episode for Devakshi right. What'll they do next I wonder? For as long as they keep giving Devakshi scenes, it'll continue working 😆 and like I said, I am a fan...so...:D

I would not comment on TRP until its out. Lets see what happens.

But if it is increased then it can be either bcz of romance or slap, because they both show in the same episode. So one alone cannot take away the credit.

I personally believe they were terrified of losing existing viewers due to slap...which means the slap wouldn't have fetched TRPs. Therefore, IF the TRP increases...I would credit it to the lovemaking scene and hot hot Devakshi Sharica chemistry.

It's not about trp...

Love scene was there for story in future as it 100% sure...she will get pregnant...

Slap scene...what will happen in upcoming episode.. Let's wait before any conclusions...

The slap was shoot for accidentally as said by makers or TV reporters or by dev himself that he didn't do it intentionally but after all...he has done mistake no body can deny it...

He has to take control..but if the slap scene didn't look perfect then it's Shaheer's fault 😆
