Significance of the red and white bangles

Anyone knows what those are? I saw sonakshi wearing those since she got married and cvs have been very careful to makr sure she wears them on all dresses - even when she is sleeping or when she dressed up in gown... even when it doesnt go well with the attire..

This is also one of those things like dev always tou hes his mkms feet before going out type of things... i feel there will be some importance of these bangles during separation phase !!

It is Suhaag ki nishani for Bengali women. Married Bengali women wear the red and white bangles... they don't have the Mangalsutra na...

Exactly!
But since it's cross culture wedding ...so she follows both the traditions and wears mangal sutra too!😉
Glad that cvs keep such minute details in mind as well!⭐️⭐️

I think, it is called red-and- white shankha polo bangles that all married Bengali women wear. Its their tradition. I have seen Asha wearing those too.

Ohh so they wear whole life? It is not a one year thing.. so i believe she will continue wearing them even after divorce

The white one is called shakha and red one pola.. Bengali women have them as thr marriage symbol.. In fact they also have one loha which they wear in thr left hand... Always... Till thr married life... I m a bengali thats y i kno... Also bengali women do nt wear mangalsutra bt since a bengaki girl married a UP boy.. Thats y to maintain d culture respect she wears those also... As said by sonu

Bengali ladies after marriage pehenti hain.Maine suna hai yeh white bangals elephant teeth ke bane hote hain aur bohot costly hote hain.
Red bangals ka nahi pata.
