If I have a son I would love him to be like Dev...If I have a brother I would love him to be like Dev... If I have a nephew I would love him to be like Dev...If I have a daughter I would love to have a SIL like Dev...If I have a BIL I would love him to be like Dev... If I have a boss I would love him to be like Dev...last but not the least If I have a husband/lover/soulmate I would love him to be Dev. For me Dev is my life time relationship goal. He is exemplary exceptional in all roles. Below are some examples.
- - He has grown up seeing his mother's hardships which made him to work so hard to give her what she has been deprived during her youth days...He is patient with his mom even if she is wrong because the moment he thinks about her hardships and sufferings he forgets everything even himself, his own happiness, his desires, his love...who can be so selfless like Dev? On drop of a hat son's discard their parents and leave them to suffer their oldage alone without having any guilty conscious...isn't our Dev a gem a mother would love to have?
- - His childhood also was full of miseries, he doesn't have a proper teenage life...he learnt colours of rainbow without looking at rainbows because he knows that if he spend time looking here and there his siblings will have a bleak future...how many of us would love to have our siblings what were are deprived of without an iota of jealousy or "I did all" attitude...Dev you are the great protector any sister would love to have!
- - In spite of the chaos created by the aunt, Dev is patient with her...it's not that he is unware of her character but his tolerance level is very high and he has great respect and gratitude for his uncle who has helped them in their difficult days... how many will have gratitude Dev has for his uncle's family? Dev you are blessing to the dixit family
- - Though dev is not religious he is highly spiritual...he follows the age old principle of our scriptures which says help the needy without letting even the other hand know...this the reason he is loved by his employees...he is a tough task master at the same he is their great protector
- He has accepted his wife's family with all their eccentricities especially his FIL... in fact he loves to see the over protective father in Bijoy...in normal scenarios the husbands get jealous which later on creates misunderstandings between husband and wife...he respects his in-laws and ready to help them...who will go back to the in-law's house when you have thrown out at midnight?? Only Dev dixit can do that
- - Dev is a obsessed lover...he doesn't leave any occasion to flatter his lover/wife...there are umpteen examples...he doesn't mind in apologizing to his wife and admitting that she is his life line...without any qualms he admits she has a magic wand with which she enthralls him and controls him when he gets irrepressible...he knows that his wife is precious for him and he can survive without money or children but a life without her is equal to death...how many can think in this terms? For him money will come and go but without his wife he will be breathless then what is the point in having any material pleasures...it summarizes his unconditional love for his wife...
SShshaheer and Erica complements each other so well that you feel they are living the life of Devakshi. That is the greatest reward for us the viewers. Shaheer is at his best in all the above roles. He acts so impeccably that you forget it is shaheer...for me he is Dev Dixit...I may forget him or his face but for me DEV DIXIT will be the ultimate HERO for ever.
