So many dreams broke. So many trusts broke.

Some of those trusts were never real, that is another thing.

Dev says it with a blank face, You cannot be a mother.

Sonakshi breaks down.💔

Inspite of Sonakshi's lack of emotions for herself, minimal dialogues highlighting how she must be feeling, I could empathize with her. Could understand why and how this behaviour was coming from. .to some extent.

Sonakshi has been brought up in an ideal family with an ideal set set of values. Where you have to be strong, have to be sensible. Her parents hold extreme pride in saying that their daughter is strong, not an 'abla naari'. Like Dev has been brought up to quick fix all the issues, Sonakshi has been brought up to be the strong one.

Sonakshi,inspite of knowing the biggest truth of her life, breaks down for a minute but gathers herself up again to think about her family. Why? Because she is strong.

Or she wants to be strong.

She asks Dev to stay away the moment he tries to console her, sits down back on the floor and then gets up to run in hernown personal space. She needed to gather strength soon. That was the moment where Dev was totally out of her space. Sonakshi built walls around her and Dev could sense the distance, so could we.

This is why we felt something was missing when Dev tried to console her. The words 'Are you okay?' And what followed were more of a strangers words to someone he just sees breaking down. It wasn't the Dev that was extremely scared to let Sonakshi know the truth. So much that he couldn't function properly before marriage.

He tries to form a connection with her emotional self by talking about how infertility did not matter to him, when he failed he quickly jumped on to his mom's well-being.

Here, Sonakshi got an anchor to attach her anxiety to. Ishwari's trust. She was quite vocal about how Dev broke trust and now there is no point of worrying about Ish and her bond.

I wonder if she believes in that? I don't think Sonakshi will take too much of time to rebuild that trust with Dev, but he is distant for sure. In today's episode, Dev had to play the role of a spectator more than a supporter.

Sonakshi doesn't encourage lies and wants to immediately speak the truth to Ish. With her badly timed words, she is able to make Ishwari believe that she was the one who plotted all this and manipulated Dev to lie to his mother.

Another trust broken.

Nothing could be worse than getting to know a heartbreaking truth indirectly. The impact is a million times more severe. Ishwari's trust on sona was anyway built on a wet base. It had to fall apart the moment extreme pressure was put on it.

Ishwari now thinks SONAKSHI is totally 'unfit' to be Dev's life partner, for her well knit family and is a plot-master to deviate Dev from his goodness.

Woah! We are back to square one then, or worse maybe.

What will follow in the episode next is Maa vs Patni. Ishwari just wants to bring back Dev to the original track. Towards her. To show that Mothers affect you more than your wife does.

I hope Sonakshi gets out of the facade of being strong and ideal soon, she needs to let go and have a proper outlet of emotions. It will all keep building up otherwise.

All d emotions ll keep building up inside dwv n sona ...n one day dey ll come out ...emotions are like water in a pan ..u cannot let dem simmer for all d tym ..it has a boiling poing after dat dere is no stopping ..

Awesome post Saumiee. But i wanted more of Devakshi conversation. For me it sinked in rather fast. I will be copy pasting my comment from another post. I am literally drained to write more.

Now even if Dev shouts from the roof top that it was all his plan and lie then also Ishwari will not believe him. I will not be surprised if she asks Dev to re marry if the treatment fails. And Sona is ready to leave the house according to precap. So may be separation is near and many people who were missing "pen wala promo" and saying that original promos never executed can have their wishes fulfilled.

What hurt me the most that cvs cannot even give one episode for parents grief who cannot be parents. The girl doesn't even ask the reason behind infertility and 7% chance is unheard. A grandmom's dream shattering is more important than a mother's and parents dream. The only thing that i liked was Dev's dialogue that he don't want anything else apart from sonakshi. And Bijoy's words that there is no right time to tell the truth and if ishwari gets to know from someone else then its gonna be a blunder. That's exactly what has happened.

GKB is intolerable for me and i feel like punching her. And Ishwari, what right is she talking about dude. Some of her dialogues i understood, but when she was planning to find a partner for Dev! For her dev was always "chota" to get married. I am seriously pissed off.

And can't cvs give an exclusive Devakshi scene about their grief and disappointment. Shaheer is in India, Erica was available, so what was the problem. Or they refused to shoot and said we will only shoot with our "maa" bcz without her we cannot complete one conversation.

Yesterday only i said that Ishwari cannot be avoided, but on the cost of Devakshi, i will not tolerate.

Again, good analysis..

i think we know that this is just a transition. Ishwari will come to know the truth. all i would like to see is Sona and Dev being strong together. I am optimistic. I see growth in their relationship even in this trauma of lies.

when Sona talks to Asha, she tells her - "Dev has hid a truth from me". She does not say that he spoke lies again. I think she is smart to realise why Dev did what he did. the full import of Dev's actions are being connected a sensible way. This is a sign of growth in a relationship and it gives me hope.

Rest..well I had this incomplete feeling in the end...err

Well Starting from Sonakshi..she is a strong girl ..she didnt express it doesnt mean she doesnt feel it..she faced it all boldly and accepted it too..which is something to be proud of coz its not easy to do so..If she is worried about Ishwari that also ok coz she was happy with the kind of love that was been showered on her by Ishwari and now she feels culprit that she betrayed Ishwari..she felt so many emotions in that small period of time..she built so many hopes dreams and now she feels scared everything will be over..so her concern and worry was understandable for me..

Dev assured her baby or no baby ..he only wants her ..he gave her space to vent out and he knew he is culprit in all this so he cant justify his action much

Ishwari reaction wasnt surprising at all..coz she herd half conversation and she was bound to feel cheated..and whether she will be back to her old self or not that has to be seen..but ATM she is blaming Sonakshi and that we know why..

Also how can I forget mami ..she has poisoned Ishwari's mind once again..aag mein ghee daal diya..huh this lady I swear

Now why I had incomplete felling..ermm probably I was expecting an exclusive Devakshi conversation with them venting out everything..All I feel missing is that Dev and Sonakshi dont express themselves fully..their real emotions I want to see..after all here they cant be parents so let them just talk their hearts out and just say everything they have in them..they shouldn't keep it inside..so yeah and I hope CVs give that to me :)

Ishwari is the same lady who tried her level best to prevent dev n sona from consummating their marriage
I still remember her reaction on their resort night
N now she wants pota...does she think it'll pop out of the blues?????

@blue..yeah I wanted a gut wrenching conversation between these 2..they need to express..they need to talk about their broken dreams and unfulfilled wishes :(..just Dev Sonkashi..thats it..I hope CVs mujhe sun le :)

You really think their will be separation track..like pen wala promo thing happening in near future ?? coz mujhe doubt hai..

@green She is equal main lead along with Dev Sonakshi..so yes she will be their..just dont want Devakshi to be sidelined

Totally agreed, that will be worth watching if this build up actually results in something. I am sure CVs knew what the audience's expectations were and where they lacked today.

I think almost all of us on the forum would unanimously agree that there was very little emphasis on Devakshi and their emotions That Sonakshi's breakdown was not what we expected neither was dev's support.

Totally agree with you on all the points dear, I wish cvs strike the right balance soon
