Here we go again..just when I was thinking I have read of all the wonderful talent in this forum, here comes one more breath of fresh air. Loved what you wrote... where have you been so long?
I could not add more... you are precise, spot on, as to what Ishwari should have spoken. I hope the spies of the CV team read this post for future use.

I really want to see Dev grow, more than Ishwari. If I still see him cry for a rotten speech given, it only tells us that he is still stuck in time. He has not woken up to the experiences that Ishwari put him through during the break up and seems to have conveniently shoved everything under the rug!

Well, all we can hope for is wait and watch...

Absolutely fantastic speech. Yes, that's a heartfelt speech and not a trick to score points.
Had Ishwari said that, I'd have been bawling like a baby (after pinching myself to check if it's a dream).

But considering Dev's Birthday monologue was already done the night before, a. this one seemed a show off. and b. the way she spoke, it was pretty evident that it was not completely directed to her son.

So that made her seem cunning. And while I appreciate cunning woman, I can't feel sentimental about them.
