I know people are tired of hearing this and I am of telling it to.
But KRPKAB...uff it really is subtlety at its best!
Yes I am talking about ishwari's speech. And it was not the good kind I am talking about. I am talking about the underlying connotation to sona which only she understood of course. It was as if she was taking to two people... While dev understood the literal meaning but sona stood the undercurrent.
U will know a show (though this is nothing short of art I believe) or book has been success when u laugh and cry with the characters.
And I did today. For sona and even though she didn't cry I did. It pierced my heart. Ishwari really doesn't understand how she hurts the girl does she??
People say sona speak up sona protest. But how does one do that when the action of hurting is not even in the open.

To anyone listening the speech it would seem a mother expressing her life for her son. And specially to the son intended. Obviously he would not understood anything.
But the daughter in law would. She perfectly understand all connotations, and the cold attitude of her mother in law. Of course she does because she comes from a where family she was loved wholeheartedly. So wouldn't she understand the difference BTW real and fake love?
But who could she complain to for how can she even formulate in words?
So until ishwari herself understands, I believe no one can make her, not even dev.

Very well articulated. Sona is no match to Ish's manipulations n emotional blackmails. If Sona tries something she wud be made to look like d guilty party infront of everyone n if she doesn't try things wud nvr change n she wud remain as an outsider. Ish wud realise the fallacy in her ways when Dev and sisters wud give equal importance to Sona even after so much emotional blackmailing by Ish.

yes, this is what even i felt after hearing the speech.
In all her other speeches it was ishwari's love for Dev that spoke, and yesterday it was her inner demons speaking. She was literally giving a voice/words to her insecurities.

Dev being Dev can never read in between the lines.
