True... Not sure what dev really feels about sona.. What is she to him... But clearly his actions leave no doubt for others to think of sona as just a thing that he can manage and they dony have to respect or please or even treat her like family...

Ppl go by what message you pass on.. So obviously everyone thinks they can use sona as a punching bag...i Dont blame them

We should just stop comparing Dev with our husband. Frankly, I think that's an insult to any decent and considerate husband to be compared with this overgrown spoilt boy.

Unless Dev stops treating her like an illegitimate pleasure item, the family is not going to treat her any better. All said and done, I don't buy any execuse to cut the cake before she arrives. May be he wanted to get done with his loving family's blessings soon so he could enjoy with Asha Aunty's daughter in his bedroom! ๐Ÿ˜ก

I was not going to comment On this stupid serial anymore because I am not able to tolerate the regressive mentality that the CVS are showing, but still love to read the wonderful writing of the forum members!๐Ÿ‘ Tumhara pyar kheech raha hai varna I have stopped watching this infinite loop of cheap and crass behavior of various family members including Dev Dixit!

If my partner does this...I would most probably smile in front of everyone (if it doesn't matter to him, I'm not going to show him my hurt) but spurt venom inside...
I will wonder where this is leading me to...my whole relationship would be in balance...

For a minute, forget about the cake cutting, but do Dev and Dixit family understand how they would feel if Sona and her family does the same? You point a finger, 4 fingers points at you...

This is worse than full fledged war...silent killer...

Hehe cool down dear.. I still did not get to that point...
I still think show is on track... They are showing all these incidents purposefully... To make sona realize and revolt... So i would give it another 3-4 weeks to show a stronger sona to emerge... If it doesnt happen and sona continues to be sweet and understanding then i will write the show off...

Yes Lavanya, I agree. We are feeling it as wrong and is reacting too. Without understanding the wrong how can you appreciate the right thing. The right will have more impact in this way I think.๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Really !
He could have atleast asked everyone to wait for Sona before the cake cutting
Had it been Ish who was missing, he would have never cut the cake .. And infact, run to get her home !

Before marriage when there is a scene where family pic was taken his waiting for Sona and khud hath pakr ke ley ke Aya ta that Sona is family member too. Now where that dev gone which used to take stand before .
That's really bad u r cutting birthday cake without your wife who is waiting for u for so long . At least u can say to your mom that let Sona come also.

And these dixits they want Sona to be perfect bahu but they don't want to be good in-laws.

And now ishwari take sona to give lecture on that mama's boy comment.(,I hope it will not happen) .

Thats the thing i like about this show... yes i hate dev right now... but the show always showed what is wrong and then showed how it is done right..

They always show the contrast - be it between Dixits and Boses...
They even called out the stalking as a crime... so i have full faith in them...
its just a matter of time when the show starts to show progressive thoughts... with out showing regressive thoughts, what is the need for progressive thoughts...

I still love the show but i hate dev ๐Ÿ˜ก at this point
