He should put the foot down - say sona is going to be here any minute.. Lets wait and then cut the cake..

Problem with dev is his tongue doesnt work infront of his family and mom... Sona ke saamne and office mein tho bahut chalta hai..

Mama's boys are like that only. Biwi ke samne sher aur maa ke saamne chooha🤣

I am not at all surprised after seeing Dev's reaction in y'day episode.
By the way he did a big favor of sending car to pick up Sona, we should appreciate that rather to expect him to wait for Sona to join in cake cut.

More than Dev, i am really surprised by Sona. Ok she don't want to spoil the celebration mood so she forgiven Dev as per Asha maa words(going by segments). Very good and so nice of her.
BUT, she didn't feel any difference in husband or his family ignoring her in cake cutting or in their surprise celebration?? Does she not feel an outsider now?? Forgiving is different part, if she didn't raise this concern for ignoring her atleast to her husband, then there is no meaning of her talking about outsider feel here after..

Sona is treated worse than a trophy wife. If Dev's family had seen anything admirable in Sona, they would have at least informed her if not asked her to join. Here they are acting as if she is no different from his work life, he will handle her as and when needed. They needn't try to make her feel like family

Why would he wait for her? After all, you wait for family and friends before cutting cake. Sonakshi is neither family nor friends. She is just this girl who is there for his entertainment whom he allows to stay in his room. That's it. And it's not as if he had left any doubt regarding what he thinks of her place in his life.

We should just stop comparing Dev with our husband. Frankly, I think that's an insult to any decent and considerate husband to be compared with this overgrown spoilt boy.

I really hope she doesn't just brush it off. These things are important. My MIL asked me for ideas before my FIL's bday 3 weeks after my wedding. It made me feel so much at home with them. That's what Sona needs especially since she knows that Dev will keep her in his life only with Ishwari's blessing

True she is just a toy he has kept in his room to be taken out when he wants and ignored when he doesn't.

I hope that upcoming dance scene is Sona's dream. Dev will not be thinking of her anytime soon or want to spend quality time with her on his bday.
