This post is targeted at Dev and Dev only. Today I am going to talk about his life, his struggles, his achievements and his habits.
So Dev and his goddess mother struggled a lot to reach where they are. They probably went through a lot because his mother doesn't leave an opportunity to tell him about the burdened past and how she did a favour by providing them education and other basic necessities. Okay, understandable.
Now Dev spent his childhood in poverty, his mother worked as a maid, they couldn't afford a servant for obvious reasons so I'm guessing that the children must have taken responsibility the household chores too (apart from cooking).

Then why does Dev act like a spoilt brat who was born with a silver spoon who can't fold a freaking handkerchief or iron a shirt or wash a shirt? What is he trying to prove by being so careless and indifferent? Does Dev think that doing petty things is a woman's job? Or does he think that doing such things is down market?

Saying that you went through a lot in the past and had a troubled childhood and crying foul in front of outsiders and then acting like a spoilt ass makes no sense. Does it?

Exactly!! This was the thought running in my mind after watching past few episodes.
Dev's behavior is something called "Resistant to change". i.e., difficulty in accepting new things like his dislike towards swing, change in his daily routine(arranging and getting his own cloths) etc..

But, going by Dev's past history Dev and his family always had trouble past where even they lost their home and entered into mamaji's house and later after Dev stood up for his family financially they might have shifted to new house and we saw in the beginning of this show they shifted to this house just 1yr back(as per show's timeline).. so there is always a change in their life and they might have adjusted... Then now why suddenly making it a big deal to deal with atleast the swing..
Ok, even if he adjusted to his sophisticated room which they shifted 1yr back, she is much used to it that he can't even adjust with some change in it??

This part of Dev is totally contradicted to a business man that too owning a telecommunication business, where they have to face changes almost daily basis and adapt to new changes..

I am not blaming Dev, but CVs who are behind showing all this stuff, which hit us and somehow hinders from enjoying the show... Now, especially today feeling like i am watching different show.

You know in the first episode itself ,they had shown one scene where servant was fixing lamp, then Dev himself went told servant to leave it , he will do it himself .So now suddenly why he's becoming so sissy and spoiled brat.😕

I dunno. . Some how loved the episode today
This is the truth in dixit house. though they were in poverty, boy was never let to do household work. All the household work was done by female. may be neha and ishwari. And Mr. Dev thinks it's a woman work. He is not disclosing to sona about his unwillingness to do the work is what he made mess.😆. These petty things don't disturb me. I was only disturbed when he said he will not call asha as ma.

Thank god at least today we did not get to see sad face of sona. I prefer watching her like today than the doormat.
