i am not sure why the CVS are showing the current track of home decor horror. Every one thought that the story was progressing where Dev's character was making progress, Sona had joined her job back and was going to help Saurabh. Why was Dev's charCter butchered this week? Also, the story and growth of the characters is back to the square one to where we had the first chulha drama. What is the significance of this track? It has been well established in 160 episodes that Ishwari is over possesive about Dev. Why are they showing it again?
I know we all have been really angry this week but I am thinking from the point of view of importance of this track !

I think they are building this track -
1. To show Sona's effort to accept the house and then she wants to blast everyone later, so she is shown listening to all the taunts of everyone.

2. Peak of Ishwari's insecurties, so that Sona will help in overcoming the insecurities.

3. Dev to accept life.

I for some reason think before sorting bigger issues CV's wanted us to see the smaller things like Dev been uncomfortable with the swing yet not placing it in a correct place fear if he talks to Sona she might get angry or leave home while Sona trying to make Dev do little chores instead of calling on his mother all the time
both wanted something and both failed to communicate their shared mistake already

Dev's character growth was the high point just like Neha's wedding after which the downward spiral began till we hit the all time low. The break up was for Dev's realization. Dev's redemption and Ishwari's realization will have to run parallel. Right now Sonakshi is in the Dixit mansion on their terms, only if Dev and Ishwari fall will she be able to claim her place in the house on her terms. Hence all the parallels so they can show Dev's character evolve. The first time around Dev reacted and was unaware of the consequences of his actions, this time around even if he is making the same mistakes he is aware of the consequences so there is the growth, very small albeit significant.
I hope I made sense.
