Anger Management - Postive post for this week

Ok i am not sure what happened to me , i am so angry this week and have been making very sarcastic and rebellious posts since monday.
I am sure a lot of ppl are going through this right now ? How are you coping ? how are you managing and controlling your anger ?

I am going to sit and try to a write a very hopeful post at the end of this hopeless week.. bear with me...
Putting my magical optimistic / positivity hat ON

I think CVs have not totally lost it ... just yet.. I think they are very well in control.. but they are making Dev behave in such a way that they want almost all of us to hate him from core... I reason why i say they are doing this intentionally after giving such a positive growth in Dev's character last week... resilient Dev realizing that Sona is feeling like outsider. so He gave permission to change things... but he and his mom just dont like changes...I feel Neha was really taunting Ishwari and Dev today when she said they have their rules and they dont break those for anyone ... she is the first victim of that mom-son exclusive bonding. Now, Dev really doesnt like the changes Sona has brought in and he doesnt want to say it to her and hurt her and make her feel like an outsider.. he was just waiting for it to pass - either he will get used to it or she will realize that he doesnt like it and get rid of it herself..

Mom-son toxic bond - This is the same bond that existed in episode 1 and has not changed.. both mom and son lie to each other with out any daily limit.. why ?? just so that the other person is happy.. but both of them know that the other person is lying and is creating this illusion that they are special. So what happens ?? Ishwari doesnt have even an ounce of trust that Dev will continue to care for her and the sisters even when he is happy with his wife and personal life.. Ishwari feels dev will ignore them or abandon them.

Same with Dev, before break up he knew that Ishwari is possessive of him and he is happy about it... but the breakup taught him that his mom lies too and she doesnt always find happiness in his happiness.. result is that she took sleeping pills.. until now she didnt tell anyone that it was accidental overdose..So Dev always has this in the back of his mind.. if his mom goes back into that state again .. she might find peace in sleeping pills one more time.. so he is being careful ... also one more trait of My dixit is that he is impulsive and takes decisions/ makes promises in haste with out thinking about consequences... so he wanted to please mom and he said he will stop calling asha maa.. with out thinking that it will hurt sona and aasha.. but they are secondary to him ... even neha and sisters are secondary to him when his mom is concerned ... so who are sona and aasha...

Then to avoid the confrontation , he starts lying that it was a slip of tongue .. very soon sona will know. Sona will also come to know that he is lying about his clothes, in the meantime i feel vicky will come to know about sona's business venture and reveal that to everyone. Ishwari will ask sona to stop working and that business venture ... sona will say NO... Dev may or maynot support sona in this case...Sona will also come to know about infertility problem and prenup.

our original sona is not totally dead .. just yet... she has mellowed down .. she used to be this tigress for outsiders but she always used to be sweet to her own family.. Not she is treating dixit family as he own... so she has toned down her expectations just to fit in.. but we do see the original sona now and then - today she fought for her swing and the changes she brought in .. but gave up against Ishwari's manipulations.. waiting for the day she realizes that all that glitters is not gold and this sweet ishwari is not real. she will then fight.. she asked dev to make her strong to fight her battles.. so her prince charming may or may not stand by her - but she will surely fight for herself and for him.


If Dev realizes what is wrong at this point, we may see some characater growth if not it is just settng stage for Sona to walk out...only then Dev will realize and bring her back -- this time only after complete redemption. Then they have to work on making Iswari secure.

Dont know what all i have written.. hope it made sense to atleast some of you... chalo i think that is the positive post from me for this week... have a nice weekend everyone

PS: bottomline, I think CVs know what they are doing and dont lose hope in the story yet... there is a reason they did not redeem Dev before wedding. He will be redeemed slowly and surely but he has to fall to centre of earth before that. Sona has to catch all his lies and put him on stand before he can actually grow.

Last week and before last week's Dev was one kind and this week's Dev is another kind... It feels like I have experienced two different DEVs... Both are poles apart. 😕 I can't digest this, how come suddenly Dev has become so insensitive towards Sonakshi?😲 Even if he didn't fulfill any promises, he accepted his faults, he was sincere, he felt guilty, he felt her pain, he cared for her and he tried to be honest with her... But this week, Dev has completely changed... He is ignorant and feels nothing for Sonakshi... WHY? 😡

Yes, this week has been too much torturous to bear. Negative thoughts have clouded my mind.

Still keeping the faith in CVs, looking forward for new episodes... not calmed down yet... but trying... Thanks anyways.😳

Looks like u really n deeply thought about it.And I so want this story to unfold soon coz whenever we all think Dev has changed,next day he does something weird n we r back to square one.However, I had n m still having complete faith in CVs coz they already told us in the beginning that it's not a love story of a hero n heroine,its a journey of all relationships how they grow in all aspects.On that we can conclude that from last 9months they were just setting the stage n actual story has just begun.

Yes the reason i feel that way ... is they raised Dev's graph last 2 wks to a level that we were all thinking he grew up... but then they dropped him so low that we are disgusted now... they will drop him a lil bit more may be till mid next week...
Then Sona's realization will happen... at this time everyone is actually ready to kill dev personally... and if Sona takes some very strong actions to teach this maa -beta a lesson... she will have everyone's backing.. no one will say .. look at her .. she is just being unreasonable etc... So lets just wait and watch... sherni will awaken soon... .then expecting fireworks in dixit house...

I will be so happy the day sona will realize that all this is facade and she actually need to start working on fixing it -- what ever way required - Saama , daana, dandopaya ... She has to do all of them ...

When things are easier IF Dev or Ishwari cannot change
Once Sona leave which way they can? So what is it that will make Ishwari secure?

Redemption is an overrated word for this show.. coz a person who break your trust a million times small or big what if he do can Sona believe?

Redemption for dev is to constantly stand up for sona when ever she is right even if it is against his mom's thinking/wishes

How will they make Ishwari secure ??? -- very good question... They need to open her up (not literally even though i would love to cut and open her and check her brain)... Ishwari needs to be shown that there are other ppl who can love her and it doesnt have to be always dev... They need to create situations that will enable real bonding with the sisters...
most important thing is Dev needs to stop lying to Ishwari and also he needs to stop encouraging ishwari's lies.. .by cross examining ..that way ishwari will come out this illusion world that Dev has created for Her.. right now even when Dev is projecting an image that tells her that he worships her , she is still not feeling secure because she knows it is all built on lies...

also Dev and Sona need to more careful and aware of iswari's expectations - like she expected dev to call and tell her that he is staying back at bose house the other night.. things like these need to be handled correctly.. also if dev and sona are going to bose house during dinner time, tell ishwari that you will be having dinner there... make a point not to forget.. if dev forgets sona needs to remind him..

All the special rituals that are mom-son exclusive -- need to be extended to sisters and sona..
it is a gradual process... once she is secure and she accepts sona as her DIL - she will not feel insecure anymore... it will take a lot of time...

Love the title!! It is rather difficult to be objective with the kind of scenes playing out the whole week. I was so livid with Dev and feeling so so so sorry for Sona today. But when the feeling passed I see light, although it appears like Sona is losing the war she has actually made significant headway.

Oh The swing!! Never thought a mere piece of furniture/toy can bring such turbulence in the lives of people in Ishwari Niwas. Sona brought into Dixit mansion her childhood dream much like her fairy tale of a Happily ever after with her prince charming. So what does it mean for the inmates of Dixit Kallkothri?

The swing is reflective of Sona's place in Dixit house. All this while she was made to feel like an outsider, so she takes off to her maika and when hubby dear comes calling she demands to be let in. What better way to start than making her living space her own so in comes the swing. We all agree that the room is not the right place for the swing. Just like Sona. Dev and Ishwari have both been treating her like a toy and her role in the house was limited to being Dev's wife. Her righful place is not just in Dev's bedroom but also as the family's DIL. Now Ishwari herself has brought the swing out in the garden to its rightful place.

The one thing Ishwari has been saying repeatedly this week is "Dev ko badlaav pasand nahi hai" meaning "Mujhe badlaav pasand nahi". We know that two acts of change by Sonakshi, bringing the Swing and asking Dev to manage his closet have backfired miserably and raaja beta made her a promise and restored her belief of their Anokha Rishta. This has lulled her dislike for Sonakshi and hence the genuine acceptance of Sona into the family's folds.

Dev and his promises!! We all know Dev makes promises to break them. He IS going to keep his promise to mommy but is he happy about it?? His guilt while talking to Asha and Sonakshi is obvious. The swing for him is a reminder of this guilt and that is why he was happy when it was gone not because he does not like changes. The reason he ran to mommy to keep his closet organised is only because he doesn't want to do it himself. Lets agree the guy's heart is in the right place, he has not just accepted the changes Sona has brought to his life but made it quite evident that he is happy to make these changes.

Sona nudged Dev in the right direction. I couldn't agree more with mamaji when he credited Sona's efforts. The only way to be included in the family is through Ishwari and the way to Ishwari is through Dev. Thus, the mellowed Bengal Tigress while dealing with mamiji's and Neha's taunts. Although Sona's efforts have brought in the desired effects however she is unaware of turbulent undercurrents.

Ishwari is basking in her victory and the notion of nothing has changed totally unaware that she herself has inadvertently set the wheels in motion as soon as she accepted Sona as her Bahu. She is even willing to change the sacrosanct paramparas with Dev's birthday. Dev is definitely not ok with his promise to his mom and is aware of the consequences this time around. Oh and there is lot more to come, it will be interesting to see how the domino falls?

Sona's swing brings winds of change in Dixit mansion. This is similar to the break up where Dev thought he would be ok without Sona as long as his mom was happy and Ishwari was happy in her bubble that all is well and nothing is changing. We all know how that ended only this time it will not be as easy for the Mom-Son duo to placate Sona with Sorry and begging.
