Ok i am a bit scared to respond to this post.. Hope you will allow me. Let me tell you one thing - i love dev with all his flaws.

But lets not justify all his mean and rude and ruthless behaviour. That is how he is and how his character has been defined by cvs. We are all ok with it. All i am saying is lets not support devs actions when he does something that is unacceptable from others pov. For example , sonas job - yes he wanted best for his mom . There were options of hiring a nurse at home or admitting mom at hospital for sometime.. But he chose the option that is most convinient for him and his family- that is get sona fired and make it difficult for her to find another job .. So that she doesnt have any other option but to accept his offer..that is playing god or trying to bend free will --- lets just accept that dev is inherently a nice person with some grey shades to his character.- just like ishwari.

Same thing happened with rithwik .. At that time he Was not really doing it to get sona back. He was just making it difficult for ritwik to do what he wanted to do. I still don't understand why dev did it if he was not willing to accept sona even if ritwick withdraws... Again there is a grey shade here and it is probably a valid human behaviour for some people... So lets not glorify and justify that he did all this for aome noble cause.

Again now with ranveer, i still think neha did aome major kand in RV house by the way his bhabhi was saying.. We dont know what happened.. May be she did harass them- i will wait and watch..
Then rv called several times and came home to talk to neha but was just insulted. Then neha sent divorce notice and dev went and tried to buy him out and asked him to move out f om his family.. Again if rv rejects this offer .. I fail to understand how is this getting labeled as ego.. When you say dev didnt have option but to leave his gf as his mom was not happy then how come we say that RV is egoistic and he should understand neha and dev and separate from his family. Sona then went and spoke with his bhabhi and rv got confused and he was furious at the mixed signals and he did lose control and i do not support him to yell at sona or calle her bewkoof...same day dev told sona he will take revenge for the insults rv did .. Sona told him not to.. I still think he had him fired for the insults according to his conv with sona in yesterday's episode. I will wait for mondays episode to see if that is right.
dev threatned rv that his lawyers will talk to him.. Any middle class person will be scared- especially with all the laws that are against the husband and family in india.. So ranveer probably talked to his lawyer and they may have suggested to file the harassment case.. It is just a case .. You just fight it out..

It is getting very interesting and i am loving the track and all episodes and extremely well balanced.

I have seen tremendous growth in devs character in the area of balancing between wife and family.when it comes to ppl outside his inner family circle,Lets just agree that dev is not perfect and hopefully he will understand that he shouldnot control others lives with his power and money. I hope sona knocks some sense into him soon..

I think u did not understand my point . . May be. . I am. Not supporting him for what he did . . Neither i did ever when he was wrong . . The intention was just trying to put some light on the facr that dev is not a bad person . . He has two side. . Only ppl r seeing the bad side. . But he has some reason . . Nd that reason is ignored. . I even don't know what neha did. . As the way dev also doesn't know . . Insulting his family and put a case of harassment is not sth easy to digest . . . Thank you dear. Yes thats what i am asking - a person doesnt have to angel fo us to love him. Dev comes with both good and bad sides - he shows extreme enotioms on both sides - love and hatred.. Thats how his character has been defined. Just want to witness some growth in his character to address these extreme emotions and accept that others have a right to do what they feel is right. I am glad they are not showing this change overnight and will probably take weeks if not months for dev to understand others pov.

Your first line about being scared to post your view just because it is a different POV is really hurting. The balance is the key. The positive and the negative views together makes a healthy balance. Even too much of sweetness results in diabetes. Wish every one remembers that there is an individual behind every Id when they attack them for sharing their POV about fictional characters.

Regarding the topic I agree completely with you. I have mentioned this before but will say it again. Dev is not a devil but not an angel either. To love him there is no need to white wash his flaws.

Thank you dear. Even though my post was not negative, i was attacked in another post.. So i am just doing my due diligence to protect myself.. Balance is key and its ok of some have different pov .. Just agree to disagree or just ignore it if you dont like it. We should not attack a real person when she/he is criticizing a fictional character... Just dont take it personally is all i wouldsay.. At the end of the day if the critics are making posts every day that means even they follow the show regularly and ar part of the same fandomwith different povs.. So lets all relax and enjoy the show.. We all know that the characters are defined to provide entertainment for all of us...and the characters and real and faar from being ideal. As long as they dont keep stretching a track with unnecessary drama and balance the episodes(which they havebeen doing brilliantly over the last 179 episodes) it is totally entertaining me that all i can think about is this show through out my day...
