I am so glad they have tightly stuck to the character sketch written for the lead characters.

Dev's approach towards monetary issues, towards Ranveer, his concern for Neha is exactly the same as before.

His reactions when things aren't going the way he expected are still the same.

Dev's childhood was filled with struggles and those struggles ended with hardwork which brought money with it. Hence, for Dev money is the solution to all the problems.

Since Day One, he has been using his resources to achieve what he wants. Enters Sonakshi, who also misunderstands his deep-rooted insecurities for him being a rich spoilt businessman who likes to rule people. The day she knows from his teacher what he has gone through, she looks at him from a different perspective.

More she looks at his actions, the more she starts to understand the reason behind those and the more she falls in love with him.

Remember, Dev-Sonakshi's first fight was for Neha and Ranveer only.. How Dev thought Ranveer belonging from a small family was a hindrance, how it won't keep his sister happy and how Sonakshi believed in the power of love, that it would help Neha be happy inspite of many odds.

Unfortunately. Dev was absolutely right at that time, not because he was practical but because he knew how Neha's happiness lies in comfort, to an extent.

The next argument again (Episode 100) was when Dev wanted Ranveer to take the flat and he refused. Dev was aghast that someone refused his help. Sonakshi was shocked at his approach. They had an argument about it but thankfully, they patched-up soon after it😳

I am so glad they both are still the same😃

Dev is still a firm believer of tackling things superficially while Sonakshi wants to save relationships. Dev at the time of his own breakup went ahead with the option of parting from Sonakshi (He suffered, that is a different thing) instead of talking to his mom. Here too, instead of trying to mend Neha-Ranveer's relationship he searches for a quick fix.

First, trying to talk to him and forgets what Ranveer is, (Ranveer's dialogues were bang on, totally reflecting the Dixit family quite bitter truth though)

Obviously for Dev, Ranveer is only Neha's husband and for Ishwari too, he is Neha's husband.

Sonakshi is looking at everything for a third person perspective hence she can understand everything in an objective way. While Dev and Ishwari are looking at everything subjectively, Sonakshi can clearly see where things get wrong.

Today both Ishwari and Dev politely asked her to stay away from the issue because she hasn't seen their struggles or that she doesn't know Neha, true, but this will be the exact reason why Sonakshi will be able to solve the problems and misunderstandings between them.

I am so eager to see how she does it though, it will have a huge impact on Ishwari's approach for her.

For her not joining the job, naaah! Its not that she is feeling guilty for resuming her work or that she isn't career-oriented anymore, it is just that with such an explosive set of in-laws she wonders if it is the right time to resume her normal routine, or spend some more time understanding their complexities😆 And guys, it is the bitter truth, if a woman goes out to work when things are a little haywire in the house, she is looked down upon because she is supposedly 'carrying on with her life because she doesn't care' . CVs hit the nail right on the point👏

Ishwari is so mellowed down these days *phew* I did not get bad vibes from her today. Her asking Sonakshi to work didn't reflect 'Move-out-of-my-territory' attitude but was genuine. Her asking Sonakshi to keep away from Neha's issue like I said, was understandable too.

The much awaited scooty scene😳😳 Then, them having a conversation outside the house. Dev and Sona talking like that and Dev expressing how her presence in his life is a relief for him, was such a deja-vu moment for me❤️

The morning scene was Dev blows air on Sonakshi's face, how I wished to see this, ,If anyone has ever seen Maan-geet in Geet hui sabse parayi..there was one scene how Maan wakes her up like this😆😆 I loved how Dev-Sonakshi are their own kind of romantic😳

They add their own touch of everything😳 When he did that I was thinking about morning-breath only and Dev said it right there🤣🤣

Poor Sona was embarrased😆 Dev's '15-din nahi nahayai..tab bhi' dialogue😆

They keep it real with such awkward moments and then more than compensate, with Dev's lovely dialogues after Sonakshi complains this is not the way to wake up your wife.😆

That tear escaping from Sona's eyes and Dev noticing and wiping them was so beautiful😳

Neha's mention there, I felt was out of place I felt, but understandable again because they both are worried about it.

Oh yes, I forgot Dev calling Ranveer at 4. am 😕😆 Seriously Dev, subah 4 baje you expect him to pick up the call?😲🤣

@BOLD - there was another post specifically about this topic and Sona's character was questioned... i did not want to comment there as it is no use commenting on something that is negative.. so let it be.

this is the fact of why Sona was hesitating and not that her character has undergone a change. She is still being the same understanding and caring person. I liked her approach and is very realistic.

After watching today's episode, i felt that the characters haven't moved even an inch. They are still the same, be it Dev, Sona, Ranveer or Neha. You rightly pointed out for Dev and Ishwari, ranveer is just Neha's husband, who has to meet all her demands. And Sona can make her understand perfectly. And its not only about some scarred childhood of Neha, there is more to it. She wanted a similar life, that she was used to, after her marriage, which she didn't got and she walked out of her marriage. It is very important to show Dixits mirror. I really hope Ranveer ask them what if Sona wants Dev to leave his family and live separately. Will Dev ever agree? Ishwari might go into fainting zone for more than a week. 😆 They should keep themselves in Ranveer's shoes. But they have never done that, have they?

For Dev the only solution is making Ranveer rich and all the problems will be solved. He can get everything for Neha and that's what Neha also wants. Now he will be doing the same which he did with his relationship, breaking it off, without giving a chance to communicate. Its either his way or highway for him. He will stand by his sister's decision of divorce. On other hand Sona believes in healing the wound rather than cutting it off. Earlier she would have avoided this situation but now as she is a part of family, lets see how it is dealt. Dev was calling ranveer at 4am, he has always been like that, impulsive. I was actually laughing at his antics. He walked into Ranveer's cabin in full tasahan and even sat before ranveer. 😆

Devakshi scenes were all bliss to watch. The way sona hugged him and comforted him was soothing and even the last scene was amazing. They complete each other and sona is the only one who can bring little calmness in her "volcano" husband. 😛

@BLUE - ha, ha, ha.,..right word.. volcanic husband.. truly is.. has not changed a bit.. though he seems to be mellowing down under the Sona influence.. I look forward to the day when he talks ever so lovingly with Sona even if she were to be at fault..
