DevAkshi OS.: Tay Hai
"But Dev meri baat toh sun..." "Maa, aaj nahi." He says gesturing with his hands and leaves without a word. There is nothing more hurtful than being deceived by your own blood. The thought that she did all this knowingly, made it all the more worse. She took advantage of his trust, for whatsoever reason it may have been. But a trust once broken, cannot be mended. At least not easily. Unable to hold any of this anymore, he made a dash towards his room. After 4 months of marriage, Sonakshi now had a fair idea about Ishwari's weird tactics. So ignoring Ishwari's stare, she followed Dev to his room.
Since it was almost midnight, the house was eerily silent. But the turmoil that Dev was going through was deafening. He realized Sona's presence as soon as she entered. Unable to meet her eyes, he hung his head low.
Sonakshi was the only one who knew every inch of Dev and what he exactly needed. Right now he needed someone to understand him, after all it is not easy to recover from the pain of being deceived by your god. Without hesitating, she knelt down in front of Dev, and met his gaze. He was literally hyper but yet controlling. She could feel the tension oozing out from him. His eyes had lost the shine and was replaced by guilt, pain and agony. Her heart pained to see him in this state without him being at fault. His eyes searched hers for forgiveness. But she was everything but angry at this moment on him. She was actually shocked to know his mother could do something like this with Dev. But she kept those thoughts for some other time.
Gently placing her hand on his, she said it loud and clear, "Dev, I love you and I trust you. I believe you completely that you were unaware of all this happening. And its all going to be fine. Give it some time. Please, for me? Don't hurt yourself. Say all that you're burying in your heart. You will feel better. Trust me."
Dev did not know what to say. He was too numb to react. But he felt this strong urge to reach out to her. Squeezing her hand, he pulled her for a bone-crashing hug. While she gently rubbed his back, to calm him. But he was constantly losing it, losing himself and so, wanted to be found in her. His blabbering apologies suddenly stopped as he pulled her out to face him. Looking deep into his eyes, she could feel them changing. His eyes were vulnerable just like reflecting his current emotion. He wanted home. And she was his home. She knew it, needless to say.
She could do anything at this moment, but could not see him breaking bit by bit like this. She had to gather him, all the pieces of his heart, to mould themselves into one, thus emerging stronger. She wanted to protect this man, who all these years stood by his family, without a second thought.
Leaning closer, they both just crashed their lips without a warning, as if they already knew their next move. This was what Dev needed right now. Someone to calm his storm. Someone to embrace all these broken pieces of his soul. He needed love.
Tere bin jee na paunga
Sach much mar hi jaunga
Yeh tay hai, yeh tay hai...
Both were breathlessly kissing each other. Suddenly feeling shy after such boldness, she tried to get away. But Dev was quick, so holding her wrist, he pulled her back. She crashed on his chest.
Hasna rona tujhse hi
Mera hona tujhse hi
Yeh tay hai, yeh tay hai...
Dev was in no mood to let her go. In no time, he had started nuzzling in her neck. While she moaned his name.
Maujood hai har saans mein
Tu har dafa, yeh tay hai
Tu hai dawa, ya dard hai
Par hai mera, yeh tay hai...
Getting out of his hold, she managed to reach the door, but he suddenly pinned her to the wall and looked deep in her eyes, intertwining her hand with his. She could feel the depth of need in his eyes.
Tere bin jee na paunga
Sach much mar hi jaunga
Yeh tay hai, yeh tay hai...
Giving in to his intense gaze, she ceased all her attempts to get free. Taking this as a yes, he hugged her for last before sweeping her off her feet, bridal style, and placing her on the bed.
Tu naseebon sa mere hathon pe
Shuru se likha hai
Mera haq hai tu aasmano se
Mujhe jo ataa hai...
He removed his shirt, and came on top of her. He quickly placed a kiss on her forehead.
Tere kadmon pe jahan rakh doon main
Kabhi jo kahe tu
Koi shaq ho toh aazma lena
Kisi din mujhe...
While she held on to his nape, he started kissing her in the crook of her neck. Which started of gently, now turned wild. He gave her love bites on her neck to shoulder, sliding off her top a little. It felt as if he was expressing his pain, baring his soul in front of her, while she took all of him smilingly. Ready to take anything for him.
Maujood hai har saans mein
Tu har dafa, yeh tay hai
Tu hai dawa ya dard hai
Par hai mera, yeh tay hai...
That night they lost counts of how many times they made love. But at the end of it, Dev peacefully slept in her arms.
She ensured that there was no place for a crease on his forehead. Placing a kiss on his forehead, she slipped into deep slumber.
Tere bin jee na paunga
Sach much mar hi jaunga
Yeh tay hai, yeh tay hai...
The next morning, brought along with it, a new ray of hope and calm. Dev woke up early, and the first thing he noticed was the way they were entangled. A smile made its way to his face. He started caressing her hair while gazing at her lovingly. After few moments of staring, she woke up to see his smiling. What more did she want in her life, than to see him smiling first thing in the morning? Absolutely nothing. She turned towards him, as he was about to pull her, when she suddenly squeaked in pain. He got worried instantly. Getting up, and balancing on his elbow, he inspected for the reason behind her pain. That is when he noticed the marks of his love all over her. She was so red with it. He felt guilty for hurting her so much in his share of pain. Seeing guilt replacing, the shine of his eyes, she immediately placed her finger on his lips, and said, "Dare you say sorry for this. I just love this feeling of having your marks imprinted on me. It makes me feel loved all over again. And do I need to remind you, that I love you?"
He just smiled. Kissing away her pain, he said, "I love you too. But I also know that I was a bit too rough yesterday due to all that was inside me. I was feeling too much, I needed to express or else..."
"I understand Dev. And you need not be sorry for that. I am your wife Dev. If I am not able to share your pain, then what right do I have in your happiness?"
Overwhelmed by her answer, he just pulled her close to himself and closed his eyes, feeling her. She is his to cherish. And she is going to be there by his side no matter what. How lucky he is to have her in his life!
And for that moment, he decided to now calmly deal with whatever his mother had to say, with Sonakshi by his side. He was now not letting her go at any cost. She was his priceless treasure, and he is going to value her more than his life. That night they became one in all senses, at an altogether different level, filled with deep emotions.
The End
