Finding a middle ground

Can this day get any better !!! That was the exact thought when I watched todays episode !!! I wake upto Maham's beautiful new VM today ...

And then in todays episode there were DevAkshi's patch up , family time with Bose family , Bejoy trying to accept Dev , cute moments of DevAkshi , HM planning - how much cuter they can get ,when they were planning HM in France I was like somebody still remembers Elena's dialogue about Sona liking everything French , hope he gets what she actually meant , its about time he figures it out 😉, and to top it all after marriage for the first time we saw a dashing Dev and gorgeous Sona, could anybody take their eyes off them today , we have to admit we got one hell of good looking lead pair who complement each other so well .. Our Dev is getting naughtier day by day ... How come all of a sudden his meetings were no more significant, hope "Sona's no more fasting" have nothing to do with it 😉 !!!! Poor thing is trying hard to give hints when he was complaining about all the tourist spots Sona is planning to visit , and if she didn't get it at all , his husky "aur"(BTW how sexy was that "Aisa plan hei aapka"😉) made his intention loud and clear ... All of a sudden Sona gets conscious and plays a prank , I was like really girl 😡, you really have a bad timing , you were planning for a special romantic dinner out in the open , now that you guys are alone you have to do this !!!!

Dev's small gesture of having dinner with Ishwari's was so sweet . Haven't we all done that , rather than hurting someone who had cooked and waiting especially for us on some special occasion , wouldn't we eat it for their sake !!!! But Sona's concern was also justified , she was not worried about the dinner or lie , she was concerned about Dev's efforts to keep things intact in front of his family or his lack of acknowledgment of the changes that comes with marriage !!! She badly needs a reassurance of her place in his life , and sadly Dev is not aware of this vulnerable , insecure side of Sona ...

I know most of us are fed up with the constant fights after marriage, though we don't like to watch it on screen especially with our favorite couple , can I tell you guys it's a reality ... First year of marriage is considered as a honeymoon period, but in reality as much as we have cute romantic moments we would have our fair share of fights in this time ... In my personal experience me n my hubby had fights on our first year of marriage more than all those years we were together or the years after that ... Its not about love or not understanding the person, but its about changed circumstances, finding new things about your partner , finding ways to tackle new situations . You can never ever be really ready for marriage, it doesn't matter even if we were dreaming for the day, or how much you know or doesn't know your partner . After marriage we are letting ,one other person to our personal space ,close to us than anyone else ever have been ... They are bound to see our vulnerabilities that we have kept hidden from outside world . There will be friction, there will be difference of opinions, above all there will be a sense of unfamiliarity because for both of you this is new !!! But good thing is you get better at it each time when you face such situations ... Dev-Sona are going through the same ... Both had made mistakes , Dev more than Sona , but let them make mistakes , let them fight which only helps to make the bond stronger , and getting to know the other better ... If you have noticed at the end of the day Dev still have problem opening upto her , but Sona knows better now she handled it in a more composed way , and Dev explained her its not as easy as she says ... Good progress I would say ... Let them continue to learn through the mistakes till they find a middle ground, which they badly needs now ...

Precap: Finally Sona is putting some effort to make her hubby happy !!! Nice progress from planning candle light dinner in the living room but bad execution dear , visiting ur uncle that's what all you could come up with, for surprising him . Lets see how it turns out !!! Loved the expression of Ishwari when she finds out the truth .🤣🤣

PS - I was hoping for a patch up addressing all the issues , but each time I expect something like that , they floor me down with their simplicity and when these two are happy , we cant hold up longer ,thats the magic of DevAkshi , their smile is so infectious that even haters of the show would have hard time to resist that smile that comes up when we watch them together onscreen ...

You're so right about early days of marriage and reality of the show. I guess that's why all of us are rooting for DevAkshi, in a way it will be an affirmation of hope in our relationships 😊

Hey , can someone remind me the episode number where Elena had that dialouge? I m thnking it is when they invite Dev for dinner ti thank him for Sonas care at the hospital.

dey badly need a common groubd wich dey ll surely find but definitely after fair share of fights n mus ...but dey ll definitely learn by deir mistakes

dev having food 2 times was not sweet to me it was psychopathic. i mean yes we all have food 2 times sometimes when someone has already taken time and cooked for us. but dont we tell them that i cannot have much because i already ate something, but will eat as i love to eat what you make. wouldnt that have been more sweeter and ishwari felt more special.
