Yesterday's episode had it all...

A wife's frustration

A husband's muteness

And a mom's over possessive ness topped with insecurity...

For all those who think ystday's episode was far from reality...knock knock...u cannot be more wrong...If you are married and been staying with your in laws day in and day out...these things do happen...and Yes they happen at the start of your married life..bcoz as time passes by you learn to handle them...

I am married woman and I stay with my in-laws...The under currents which they are showing do happen...Let me clear one thing..mom having a single male child is generally possessive in India...(no I'm not supporting it...I have faced problems bcoz of this possessiveness myself..so will never)...being a single parent would add up to it...

Sona knew this family from before,she has an idea of the frequency of the family...but now she is the victim of it...

Dev,the bread winner of the family and with a troubled childhood...How can one expect him to be normal as every other guy...The moment he so much as tried to be For himself...he was pulled back and shown the harsh reality...

Agreed to the fact that Dev who shouted at Sona for no mistake of hers should have apologized...but when did our Dev ever was courteous or formal...wasn't that why Sona named him as Mr.Obodro at the start???In anger, every human tend to be more rude...Here Dev is burdened with the fact that He,forgot the Sanskaripana taught by his mom--his God...

The scapegoat in all this is Sona...

Yes she was warned by Dev himself that he is a difficult man to deal with...He becums difficult whenever sosomethg not in his family's favour happens...She's trying her best to add some brain to her dear husband...But But Sona Darling...Dont you know that when people are defensive,angry and guilty...whoever goes to console them other way round...would be given black n blue...

That's what happened...For the first time,Dev asked her to shutup...never did he behave that way with her since her accident...Real Mr.Obodro...

Ishwari is typically not a bad woman but when it comes to her son she can scare you out...That good thing in her pops up once in awhile and she was happy when she heard Sona would also read some mantras

Ishwari giving him a hug while he was mostly still filled with mixture of emotions gave me goosebumps..This Lady is hell scared that she might lose her respect before her son like before and she soo wants to show Sona her place as Dev's mom will not change an iota...

Sona telling her sis in law Nikki abt Marriage being a mixture of everything and not just a bed of roses...Totally agree to her point...In India,you don't just get married to your husband,you are given to his family(I know it's tacky,but it's the fact)...you are not prepared to dealing with so many people...and from day 1 you are expected to be super in every thing...

I'm sure Elena telling Sona abt her job was a reminder for her to get back to work...n't that Sona was planning to quit job...And Yes for sure Sona asked permission for the fact that she wanted to go before the planned vacation...Ishwari very well knew that her bahu is not going to be a housewife...that's what she told Dadibua when she taunted Sona...

Ishwari stating that two things staying together would only make noise is the perfect wording I would say...This is where I think I understand the whole MIL and DIL clashes happen...Having to stay with my in laws,i know when you are at home for some purpose for more than 3days and by chance your MIL also stays at home...you tend to have issues...

Who said after a big fight you don't crave for your spouse...they are supposed to be in Love and what they r facing is alien to both of them...they r expected to ill treat each other...but slowly they would learn frm their mistakes...

Yes Both Dev and Sona has a very big role to play...

Dev in finding a balance between his mom and wife...it's easy said than done...

Sona in reassuring her MiL through actions that she's going to be part of this family not take him away and also address her own insecurities about losing him yet again...

Just one more last point...luvd CVs for showing the fact that these issues happen to modern girl only...Sona is bound to have these problems bcoz she's not a doormat...She can break your head if she comes to know that you are wrong...but here she's not dealing with people like Vicky and Radha who are open in their fight and gives back to both of them...Here are two people Ishwari and Dev who would harm themselves in case they REALIZE their mistakes...Time would teach her to deal with them...

The only thing that dint fit the bill was Sona lightning candles in the middle of Living room where any sun and dry could come and see...Darling if you want to give surprise to your hubby do it in your own room...why open up chances of more sarcasm and taunts...

Forgot to add the cute little scenes of Dev and Sona yearning for each other was an icing in the cake...totally bliss...They were so natural...Husband and Wife do tend to get back to each other in similar fashion...unlike girl friend and boy friend...Dev saying that Sona's ego is taller than her height...it seemed cute for the fact that he was yearning for her and bcoz she dint call he was angry not bcoz he feels egoistic...When we luv someone but know that they can make us feel differently we tend to speak like that's what makes this show realistic...

Seriously yaar,don't know what happened to this forum...This forum was once a very positive one...Now people are just trying to over analyze,predict too much and mess it all...Sorry if I am rude but that's what I felt..

Superb post. You spoke my thoughts exactly. Even I could relate to all these events happening to dev and sona with my personal experiences. Love marriage or arranged marriage, these issues will come up when you stay with in laws. The only difference is that the disappointment is more when it is a love marriage because your expectations for support from your husband are more. But most men end up being tongue tied when they have to speak up for their wives to their mothers. Sadly that is the reality.

A very well analysed and needed post at the moment. You have covered Dev, Sona's and Ishwari's situations so aptly. Dev has troubled childhood and is the sole earner of the family and its quite true that he cannot be changed in one day. He is learning and will learn from Sona, but it will take time. He very well knows what consequences he will face by appointing Vicky in his company and he is ready to face them for his family. "Sacrifice" and "obligation" trump card has always worked on Dev well and he has always kept his family above all.

Sonakshi knew beforehand how Dev regards his family and specially his mother, she has face the burnt and is still scared internally. She needs to be cautious while dealing with his family issues. She understands Dev situation and his history but don't want to see him being emotionally manipulated. She will be the person who will free him from his past shackles and make him live in present. And yes she is no doormat or abla naari who will take any insults and I am so glad that she will be joining her work back.

As I always say KRPKAB is a journey of leads, if they become perfect in one day than what is the sue of story telling. And honestly I want to see them growing and learning, as it is a part of journey called life.

much needed post. seriously our forum used to most positive forum. now days people are over analyzing everything .bringing self respect independence and all .seriously a couple can't miss each other after a fight. kuch bhi and i dont see any wrong if sona asking ishwari joining job .i think its minimum courtesy inform to your in laws .and sona asked that if all rituals are completed can i join office .its really normal thing to ask .and people isko bhi linking with self respect thing .i think negativity attracts more than positivity.instead of seeing positivity in the things,they hold negative things. i think its depends on person mentality some people holds positivity so some people holds negativity.
