Aaand she did just that. She gave her opinion and let him take decision by himself. When everyone in the house are questioning his decision and blackmailing him, she just wanted to offer her support. That's all she did as far as I know. It's Dev who said ( just said but doesn't mean) that everything belongs to both of them. But alas! His words are like writings on the sand.

Well the sona i knew would never say things like this "i am independent and i dont have to ask your permission to commit to something when clearly the decision she took was for both of them"

Yeah. She told Eeshwari that she would keep vrat, she just wanted to be like everyone in the family. Because Eeshwari clearly told her that everyone in the family is doing it. She is cunning enough to make Sona commit for the vrat first and give the terms and conditions later. What is Sona supposed to do? Tell her that since sex is not allowed, Dev might not be happy about it, so she would backtrack on her promise?! Yes Sona can take simple decisions of her life herself. She didn't know before committing that, but Dev had to blow that out of proportion by his impulsive act. He is the same Dev who thinks his mother would never do any wrong, but he didn't care to listen to Sona completely and directly stormed his mother's room to confront her about this! So whose fault is this?!

Sona clearly took it as a challenge ... Initially i thought it is just her fear but it is infact a combination of fear and pride that sona never fails in anything... We will see more of this pride in coming episodes

Sona never questions someone decision becuase it is against her pov. She would give the space that one needs to think and make a decision.

She just offered her support. If Dev thinks that her mere presence awakens his conscience, then it's not her fault. Hope you aren't expecting her stop existing now.

Sona i knew is practical and sensible too ... Now i see a sona who is practical and sensible when it suits her .. Consistency is missing..

Agree that the Sona we are seeing is not that Ms. Bose anymore. If she was practical she would never set foot in that damned house ever again after the way Dev dumped her like a hot potato for Eeshwari's sake. She is bullied by every illiterate idiot in that house and it's taking a toll on her. No sensible person puts up with that.

Sona was perfect before marriage , nowi see different shades of her when she is put under stress..
Dev is ofcourse far from perfect but i see him moving in a positive direction.

But sona is trying to be javk of all trades and master of none... She needs to set her priorities first..

And her first priority should be her career and not please her husband in bed. She should stand up for herself and demand her own space and respect as his wife first. She needs to take those keys from Eeshwari first, before she sleeps with Dev, because it is her basic right to have her privacy. She should demand that people take permission from her before barging into her domain, her bedroom. When Dev sees to it that she gets her space in the house and she is not an outsider anymore, then he can claim his conjugal rights on her. She is the daughter in law of the house and not an unpaid sex worker, who doesn't have any claim on Dev , but is expected to please him.
