@ BOLD... this is what is scary. people are saying ishwari is normal possessive mother. she is NOT! and i've been saying it's unhealthy relationship..esp.. from Ishwari.. why she gets jealous? does she see her dead husband in Dev? sic sic sic.. CVs should not be going down this path if they don't know how to handle it. on one hand, she has gifts for gradkids, on the other hand.. she is roadblocking consummation seriously messed up in the name of "hatke"

I slightly disagree with you on this bit, At this point, I dont find Sonakshi trying to fit in unnatural. Been through so much family conflict, she is trying to mix perfectly in Dixit family. Trying to be the ideal bahu along with ideal wife. what she is doing right now, according to her perspective, will keep things in perfect terms with Dev as well. If she pleases everyone in his family, they both can lead a happy married life. Obviously she is overdoing it unknowingly isliye I loved how Dev said how she does not need to prove that she is family, because she already is.
Sonakshi is willingly doing everything so she won't complain.
Certainly, Ishwari is not a normal possessive mother, but I can see where her behaviour is coming from. It is a little scary to see a mother, even if subconsciously, trying to keep away her Son from his wife physically.
The contradicting behaviour or wanting grandkids and not letting the consummation happen reflects just this. This behaviour is not plotted but she is doing it when her core insecurity issues crop up.
