About the rasam - thanks for clarifying the reason behind it. But in that case, why not sit in your normal clothes and chat with the women who have come to see and bless you? Years ago, perhaps women especially new brides couldn't show their faces, but do we have to continue these customs today, even if they are only for a day?

She has left her home and everything and everyone dear to her and this is how you treat her?

Dev telling Sona - "Everyone in this house loves you" - Now that's a joke ! So he is so dense and stupid that he thinks Ishwari and RR love Sona?? Really Dev - you are supposed to be an astute businessman but you can't read between the lines and see what these 2 women really think about Sona? Your mother is insecure as hell about her and your Mamiji hates Sona for what reason, God alone knows. Maybe her beauty, her qualifications, the fact that she puts her wretched son Vicky in his place??

The look exchanged between Sona and Ishwari as Sona turns to leave - what was that? Has Sona just realised she's been had? That it was all a facade put up by Ishwari? It felt like Ishwari was telling her, 'You see, I always win. You are no match for me.'

I am so glad Sona confronted Dev and expressed all that has been on many of our minds. I am glad she questioned the Dixit family eating in restaurants (where non veg may be made), but Dev says Ishwari doesn't eat out ever. Umm..at the award function where Sona accompanies Ishwari as her nutritionist, I distinctly remember a lady talking to Ishwari and congratulating her on how well Sona was taking care of Ishwari, including bringing salad for her. So she does eat outside, doesn't she ??

But Sona, I doubt you are going to get any answers from Dev. Dev, like many men, simply wants to push the unpleasantness away and get on with life. In this case, his first night. Yes, Dev you don't want Sona to spoil the first night by bringing up controversial subjects but you are quite ok with the night being spoiled by your drama queen mother's antics and your aunt's and dadi's constant taunts and insults.

Ishwari is so so clever. She didn't hesitate to let Sona know - on the very first night of marriage - that Sona was in this house only because Ishwari gave in to Dev's 'zidd'. She is the master of getting her point across in subtle jabs and pricks. Only dense Dev is oblivious to these tactics of hers.

Muh dikhayi rasam - I don't know much about this but it seems to me like a highly regressive and archaic practice. I could never tolerate being paraded in front of a bunch of women like a doll on display. Wish this serial had done away with showing such outdated and I feel, irrelevant things. And even here, Sona will not be spared. Because she stumbled and her pallu fell off her face. So what? Is the world going to end because of that?

Its now confirmed that the makers simply want to manufacture drama through trumped up situations. Why the hell doesn't mamiji ever lift a hand in the kitchen or anywhere else? When she sees Ishwari reeling all over the place why doesn't she help her or better stil,l insist she sits down while she takes over?? Because then there would be no drama. So this is the way this serial is going now. Forced drama, kitchen politics and saas bahu struggles.

Such a huge, huge pity.

don't tell me she never knew that Dixits were conservative and very different from her family. neha's grudges, nikki's bak bak ,riyas nonchalance, Ishwari's dominance and Dev's arrogance, maami's outrageousness, vick's brashness, mamaji's helplessness hasn't she experienced all this during her stint as the nutritionist? How on earth any mature person can imagine that all this will change overnight???
