I LOVED IT !! ...you should tweet this link to the CVs and writers...they promised us maturity and different outlook and lot of good scenes...and now a days ...I dont even think we recognise it as the show they promised us...above all the whole team said..this is one serial we could watch be happy and go to sleep...these days after watching each episode we literally boil in anger...and then it takes the sleep away...

And hopefully, if the CVs read it, they wouldn't laugh at the way we are taking satirical digs at them and start using their heads.

Brilliant writing!!! I can just imagine CVs going through this exact conversation. You spoke about CVs, here's what I think Ishwari and her God's conversation looks like...

Ishwari (praying): God, may Dev never love anyone and I soon have lots of grandchildren from Dev.

God: You are confusing me. How would get grandchildren if Dev never loves anyone but you? Which woman is stupid enough to enter in this mess?

Ishwari (big smile): But God, people in love are stupid. Make sure someone loves Dev and gives me grandchildren. But Dev can't love her. He must just tolerate her long enough to get children, then out she goes and Dev and I live happily ever after.

God: What? Ishwari, parents don't get happily ever after with their children because they don't live forever. Only two life partners can get happily ever after. Don't mess with fairy tales. You are not the main lead in your son's love story. And why won't Dev love his wife, the mother of his children?

Ishwari (angry): Why would he? He will only love his mother and his children will also only love their grandmother. Why would they love an outsider?

God: Are you even listening to yourself? A woman who will be Dev's wife, his life partner, how would she be an outsider?

Ishwari (sulking): You visit too many modern family these days. Why would we include someone else's daughter in our family? We have our own daughters. They come before daughter-in-laws.

God: But you are not asking grandchildren from your daughters, you are only asking them from your son. Why aren't you pressurising your daughter to become pregnant? How would you feel Ishwari if your daughters are treated the way you are treating your daughter- in-law?

Ishwari (nonchalant): Oh I don't care about my daughter's children. They are someone else's family. And if my daughters are mistreated, what can I do about that? They are, after all, paraya dhan. Once they get married, they must stay at their in-laws. They can never come back here. I am finally looking forward to have Dev all to myself when all my daughters live home. I am not sharing his attention anymore.

God: Listen to your thoughts. Dev is not your husband that you are trying to have all to yourself. He is your son. And you just said daughters come before daughter-in-laws. But still you don't want them come back if they are not happy or mistreated. So your daughters are no one to you even if they are treated as outsiders in their in-laws. Then who is their family?

Ishwari (sweet smile): Come on God, we have to consider women as human beings before we think about their family. Women are there for one purpose only. They are there so a man can get kids. Why else would we need women?

God: You should be ashamed of yourself. Just because your in-laws treated you like an outsider, you should be more welcoming to your daughter-in-law so that she doesn't feel as unwanted as you felt. Then she will continue that welcome to her daughter-in-law.

Ishwari (sulking): I don't care. I am God too and I can do anything I please. My son will do as I say and he will only worship me. I won't let any third person come between me and my son. If I didn't need grandchildren to increase the devotee number, I won't have ever let my son get married.

God (frustrated): This is not what I was thinking when I created this world. I created women and men with same organs, same body functions and just made one difference of gender to continue the world. When did men turn that single difference into a superiority?

And they can get away with it easily showing Devakshi kiddish romance n lolipop scenes , because hey theu've a faithful group of people at their service ready to fiercely protect and try to "logic" or "reason " each n every of their loop holes , bloopers , pit falls , failures , OTT typical twists , confusion n illogicity galore ! 😉 😛 😆

So why not ?? 😆

Too bad a group of us refuse to understand this simple fact that Indian TV shows aint meant for logical mature handling n tight beautiful story telling 😆 We expect and demand maturity n reason n continuity n proper closure and adult passion and "real" romance So so bad of us !
