Kuch rang pyaar ki aise bhi.
In this story the theme is fresh. Dev a brahmin falls in love with Sonakshi who is not a vegetarian.

Eshwari is the villain of the story. Since she almost separated Dev and Sona.

Now what Sona is I do not know. She is the girl for Dev who is broken when Ishwari almost separated both.

Now Ishwari goes and begs in Sona's house for her hand. They agree after a lot of arguments, fights and justified anger from Sona's side.

Ishwari again is shown as money minded . Wanting Sona to sign a pre nup.

Now Dev's house everything is not correct. Neha is not educated. Went to learn English and fell in love. Married Ranbir made problems over the lehenga, mosquitoes in Ranveer's house ,AC brother's kids etc.

Then settled down with Sona's "gudiya" story comparing Neha to gudiya not a human being.

And yet Sona is educated and she is the one for Dev. Ishwari opposes she is pyaar ki dushman, money minded, possessive lady.

Mamiji there are no words to describe her . She is villain of the piece.

Now comes Bua Dadi (saas) who wants good muhurat to "enter" the house. Brahmins are shown as jokers. Shubh muhurat is practiced only for marriage and other functions. Not for a widowed Bua Dadi entering the house.

After that every single objection raised by Ishwari and Bua Dadi are shown as atrocious. They are Brahmins after all and they object to non -veg in the catering in the marriage. How can they object? It is an inter cultural marriage. and Sona is out of this world. People have genuine diet concerns ut they are stupid and atrocious. and jokers as well.

Neha now will come back not being able to live in hubby's house. She wants comforts. Ishwari is materialistic, possessive mami is mean and plots, greedy and poisonous.

Shona and her mum her angry father overweight Dadda are all normal human beings. Shona has wisdom beyond her age. But Ishwari and family are shown as above.

So what are they trying to say? Aiming at Brahmins and their diet habits, vegetarianism, old Bua Dadis of the world and meaningless , mindless jokes being made on them. and glorifying Shona and her family ... for what? for being non vegetarians and not having consideration towards others even in a religious function like marriage?

cvs for making a joke of Bua dadi and her religious concerns. Showing them as jokers yet not really knowing how they are in real life.

This is the gist of the story as it is being shown now.

people run out of ideas . but don't hurt others feelings by showing things like these.

I don't think they are showing her as a joker. I have seen Brahmins like her. You must have not come across someone like her.

I think CVs are handling certain sensitive matters so carelessly. May be, this is one among them. Take it easy. I was actually laughing at Mamiji's reaction on seeing the fish packet LOL Just imagine. As you wake up in the morning, open the door and see a dead lizard right at the door step. What would be one's reaction irrespective of whether you are veggie or not. It would precisely be like Mamiji's reaction because you got to see something the most unexpected, unusual and undesirable sight. For people, who are used to seeing fish regularly, it is nothing but for those who are not used to it, fish or lizard makes no difference. So, I do not see anything eccentric about Mamiji's reaction. I don't think it is meant to ridicule the community as such. There are good and bad in both Dixit as well as Bose families. Ishwari's villainous attitude is not because she is Brahmin but because that is what she is. Dadi Bua is a typical dadi found in most houses. She is just sticking to her own customs and beliefs and it's ok. In fact she looked so magnanimous during Sangeet. Didn't she?

Mamiji is shown as as the plotter, selfish sponging woman in the show. Ishwari is normal but possessive.

I guess it is one thing to see a dead lizard another to see a dead fish. And this idea is a repeat. Has happened in another show. as well.

There are good and bad things in Dixit and Bose families. But they only show the Dixit family as villains. Because they happen to be Brahmins.

If you are vegetarian you have to be like Dev. Otherwise they brand you as villain.

Why cannot the Bose family be considerate towards Dixits since it is a marriage? And make everything vegetarian to respect Ishwari's sentiments?

And Dadi Bua there are many like her. But they do not look for muhurat to come inside the house. in their old age and status they have no use for these muhurats. Muhurats are for people who start their life new like married couple, children who start something like education, or learning some arts etc. As to whether these are stupid beliefs that is another debate. But in any case why show this as some kind of joke especially when they belong to a particular community?

When we do not know enough on a subject it is better not to talk about it. We do not know about Einsteins theory of relativity . Instead of reading up on it we make fun of it how will it be?

and surprisingly in these whole matter there is nothing to find fault with Shona and her family.

Her Dadi is a sweet lady. But Dev's house Ishwari is objectionable and now Bua Dadi.

And then Neha who has some problem always. Shona will never have. She is educated earns her living and she marries rich.

In fact Dev is the person who they should criticize because of the way he dumped Shona without any explanation and started to fight with her when his mom had an overdose of sleeping pills.

Instead they made Ishwari into villain because she does not like Shona.

Shouldn't Dev have informed Ishwari from the beginning before starting a romantic affair with Shona? Instead of hiding from his mom?

And even if he dumped her for Ishwari's sake couldn't he have explained to Shona?

He did none of these things. Yet Ishwari gets all the blame.

Now that they are united they have to show other things just to make it entertaining. And they have to show this.
