Looks like the veg and non veg discussion is a big one during weddings where different cultures are involved. Please vote so we can see forum's opinion on this topic.

For me both should be there. Serving fish is an important part of Bengali ritual. Since the wedding is according to the Bengali ritual this should be served but separately so as not to affect the vegetarians.

According to me both.
Its not just about having non veg food...fish is considered very auspicious in bengali culture.I do respect that Dixits are vegetarians so non veg food should be made and served seperately.

Only veg if one of the side do not eat non-veg and can't even tolerate non-veg. Both sides should show some flexibility but many in India still don't even eat food where non-veg is being served. Dev n his sisters are younger generation, they have travelled a lot so they are okay with this. But Menu shud be ok for both families.
In my culture, even though we eat non-veg, we don't have it on puja days or auspicious ocassions, so only veg menu in weddings 😆😉

i also think that both should be served, even though i am not too comfortable with the idea, because fish does have its importance in bengali culture and i think it should be respected. i also get the dulhe's side, who might get michmichi because of nonveg because just smelling it will not be easy for them but with proper planning and if guests respect the guidelines, everything can go smoothly.
