Thats can be coz of various reasons

1. Majority of The audience is not mature enuf to accept such scenes on television. Unlike they are like us who crave for it 😉

2. And every channel or show does not want to take that bold step where people dnt accept such things being shown on prime time..business is most important. So take risks but the calculated ones.

3. The actors are not comfortable with it.

4. Lets accept, many of us, the viewers can't watch such things with family. We mite talk abt it bt when such scenes actually come on television, we try to hide our faces or deviate attentions tonsomething else for that moment.

5. In a way this still keeps the audience hooked as these moments can't be shown often. Even if they show, it will be once in a blue moon in the entire run time of that show over years. But small small things like hugs etc can b shown every now and then and still keep the viewers hooked and talk abt them.
For how long wil the audience talk abt that one scene...bt they surely can go on and on with small moments each day.

By intimacy here, don't really mean, we want them to really jump on to bed or something like that.

But just some romance atleast, something like cheek kisses, forehead kisses, something like Dev holding Sona tight from her waist or atleast a passionate eye lock. We can atleast expect this much ya. Thats something very normal.

Something like...the way he walked from the dining table and came to kitchen and took the carrot..
Before this scene the way they both look at each other...
The way he was talking to her just the day after confession...in his room//
The "no more Sanskari " scene..
Talk after his exercise ..biceps convo..

I think they had more intimacy just after confession...

I too don't think a cheek kiss or a forehead kiss and passionate eye lock are something that they can't show ..we r not asking for lip kiss etc
