Yesterday I wrote a post where I said how Bijoy should have been polite to his guests.
But when the guests are like Dixit family, I guess it's hard to maintain any sort of dignity. So I take it all back. You guys were right, I was wrong.
Today I have no complaint against Bijoy. He was right in every single thing he said.
Being a Bengali myself, one thing that will guaranteed piss off a Bong is the mention of dowry.
Ishwari thought she was being magnanimous, but for a Bengali family it's taken for granted that dowry won't even be mentioned, let alone given/taken or passed on.
I liked Mamaji today. In Dixit family, he is the only member who is genuinely trying to ensure Dev's happiness. Everyone else is showing fake happiness.
Ishwari today stooped to such a level that NOTHING can ever redeem her and today Bijoy was absolutely on point. This lady is more concerned with protecting her son's money than his heart.
Dev was right. When a relationship breaks, then the only people who think about money first are the people who have never loved.
Once money is gone, it can be earned again. But once a heart is broken, it takes years to mend if ever.
When Dev broke up with Sona, he was facing loss in his company. Even if he gets to keep his entire company, what makes her think he won't go bankrupt because he can't function with heartbreak?
The worst clause here was about the children. Ishwari keeps saying she was a single mother who worked hard to raise her kids and here she is asking another woman to sign a document where she will be in the same situation with her grandchildren. This lady is a first class witch with a capital B.
Dev should have never relied on his mother so much. But he will learn when he gets the worst betrayal yet.
After last betrayal she said, I did what you wanted. I wanted Sona to be happy even though she is not with you. She was all caring, loving and concerned image in front of him.
What would she say this time when the betrayal comes out? Which loving or caring image will she project? This is definitely not something Dev wanted nor she is doing it for Sona.
If Dev again goes, "Tune jo kiya achcha kiya", I would honestly kick his butt.
But today he was supportive, loving and for once, stood up for his love's dignity. The boy has learned his lesson. Welcome to becoming a man. Do maintain it when Radha and Vicky are their insulting self and Ishwari's two-face comes out.
The worst part is the scene where after getting the sign she thinks that her four children should get equal rights and everything should get divided equally.
What rights? If Sona has no right on Dev's property being his legally wedded wife and their children have no right in spite of being his flesh and blood, then why do YOUR daughters get their rights on HIS "hard work money" when they never even lifted their fingers for this?
Ishwari, this money is not your money nor your husband's money nor your dad's money that you are dividing among your children equally. This is Dev's money to divide among HIS children, not YOUR children.
If he gives them an inheritance, that's his choice. If he gives away everything, that's his choice too. He did his part by educating them. That's where a brother's duty ends. He is their brother, not their father. Who the hell are you to decide what he should do with his money?
Mamaji was on point when he caught Ishwari yet again involved in lies and deceit. This lady knows nothing else. Dev, your mother is not even a decent human being, let alone God. It's about time you took off the blind obedience glass from your eyes and see her true face.
She will forever go behind your back. Do you really want to live with someone who keeps betraying you? You can't trust her an inch.
She took your sign without your consent or knowledge. In legal terms it's called FRAUD. How do you know she won't take your signature on the divorce paper in the same way one day?
Today I was upset with Asha too. She is so desperate for Sona to get married that her brain is not working. Even after she found out that Ishwari sent pre-nup, she is advocating Sona should sign it. Sona might give up her rights. Why should she give up her children's rights?
I don't think they should have hidden this from Sona. They should have told her. Also, if Ishwari comes back with Dev's signature on pre-nup, they should ask Dev straight about it. If Dev and Sona have to co-exist with such a deceitful women, they need to see her true face. So that they never keep anything hidden from each other. She just the kind of woman who will take advantage of their silence. But it's hard to take advantage of honesty.
I almost got a dirty feeling watching her today. Yuck Thoo!!!
