Pre-nup agreements are signed so one cannot claim 50% of a spouses property. Legally on divorce one is entitled to 50% of spouse's property.

If pre-nup is signed a person cannot get alimony more than what is agreed in the pre-nup.

I think RR instigates Ishwari that Sona has agreed for money. So to protect dev's property in case Sona is a goldigger then she cannot get anything is she chooses to divorce Dev after marriage.

This wont impact our love birds. Will hurt Sina when she finds out though.

Still confused Divya. Because Dev is going to sign it with office papers without knowing about it. But it needs Sona's signature also. And it is 50% share in the prenup. So what is the difference?

no ..if we know iswari she is going to make sure sona gets nothing as per pre nup...even i wonder how she will take sona's signature...if divorce happens then dev's half property belongs to sona as per law...but with a pre nup in place this becomes null and void...

I think with pre nup it's certain that spouse will get what is promised without having to fight for it in the court but in the case of divorce though a spouse is entitled to 50%share she/he needs to fight for it and prove in the court that they are in need of alimony

From what they have shown if prenup has agreement to give 50% share to Sona after divorce then this whole setup favours Sona more.Is Bijou behind this ? Has Neha issue related to this ?

I think precap cleared all the doubts.

If there is no pre-nup, Sona would get 50% of Dev's property on the event of divorce.

Pre-nup, in this case, is to make sure she doesn't get anything or bare minimum instead of the 50% on the event of divorce.

Dev threw the papers in the dust bin. Ishwari will try to make him sign by hook or crook.

Let's see how this plays out

Yes it is clear in the precap. Ishwari doesn't think this marriage will survive and is looking out for her son if Sona turns out to be gold digger.

Ishwari doesn't want to share her son's hard earned money with anyone else...or a large part of it.. I think she's just playing safe here...If in case the marriage doesn't work then she is sure that Bijoy will definitely won't spare her son & will try to get as much as possible. So maybe that's why she wants to give only what's there on the pre-nup & nothing more... wonder if Neha's situation & Bijoy's behaviour has caused her to think like this??
