The patch up hug, proposal didnt mean anything at all as like Bijoy, no one is convinced with Dev's loyalty. I wanted to see emotional n tearful patchup 😭 , apologies from Dev n some future promises but the proposal was so ordinary..only good part abt the proposal when Dev wipes tears from Sona's eyes. But I guess there is an emotional scene coming soon.

I need a good conversation between Asha and Dev as I feel Asha is the only sensible one right now to make Dev realise that he has to support Sona n make her comfortable in his family. Asha wud help Sona manage Ish, GKB.

N Sona has to tell Dev abt GKB taunts n Vicki's misbehavior..she shouldn't hide it from Dev anymore coz she can't tackle them alone. Glad today's confrontation happened infront of all sisters specially Neha. There will be some repurcussions...maybe wat Bijoy said in the precap..your family has to accept Sona..maybe he meant both Ish n GKB.

Everything seemed to be forced..patch up didnt take time to blossom at it its own...unlike the way they fell in love and the way they showed the initial episodes.. I felt no one was happy from heart other than Dev and Sona...even Sona showed slight hesitation while she accepted the Rose ...
My brain says Bijoy's fear will come true...anyways...let me know not assume and predict...
Let us see what CV team has to offer us...

Same with me. I am trying to have selective memory. After Dev confronts Ishwari before her pills drama he goes to Sona to inform her. He calls her Mrs.Dixit😆 After that scene instead of all this break up and redemption? for me I like to think the story continues with him bringing her home to his mother and sisters seen in today's episode. I want to selectively forget what ever has happened in between. Then all is well😆

Yes ...a lot disappointed with the presentation as well...to many things were worked in to one episode...not sure they are rushing so much...the beauty this serial had initially is lost ...

And Dev needs to cut his hair or style his hair...he looks shabby...😭

I m missing old days so much maha episode ke baad se..from last 1 week

Sure ,will wait to read your POV.

Agreed that episodes in the past few months are missing the flow of incidents...there is always a disconnect...and we feel the imp parts are always rushed thru...and the ones that just need to be informed to the viewers are dragged un necessarily..

Also they are bringing in sad tear jerking tracks with no logic... and trying to drag it ...wonder if they are doing to satisfy ppl who will watch it on TV and there by increase the TRP??

Not sure...but what ever it is ...this show is loosing its "ART" value which initially it had...that beauty we saw in the promo's are not there in any of the episodes..

I would have been happy with the whole episode... the way everything seemed to fly at supersonic speed, the way the proposal seemed a little too artificial, the Vicky - RR scene... everything. I would have been OK with everything IF he had KNOCKED on her door instead of HONKING. If they had showed a moment's disappointment or a small frown on her face when he honks but doesn't knock. That bloody is NOT the way to go about it. CVs messed up that scene.
And after so many lollipop scenes... I wasn't expecting passion anyway. Where was the time to display or even acknowledge any passion?? Bijoy accepted, DevAkshi hug, world's best proposal, her being welcomed into his house, kangan ka bandhan, Vicky RR scene, Nikki and Riya scene... all in the span of 20 minutes. There is no place for passion amidst all this.

Yes , he should have taken permission from them before taking her out. And Sona again forgot to make him understand the importance of her family in "their life" by rushing to him. I wont blame Dev for taking her parents granted because she herself is taking them for granted. Agreed she asked permission before she went out with him...but she didnt insist that Dev should take permission from her dad.
As I have written in many of my posts now..I would like to see atleast one scene where we can see Dev's strength of love for Sona.

Passion !! I feel makers are scared to show that thinking that majority of the crowd might dislike the serial. But what I am asking for is not some cheap , vulgar intimate scene..something similar to that we saw post confession ...something very pure ..expressive...that would touch your heart and leave you spellbound. But looks like the word "Passion" is more like a "forbidden fruit" for them. So best to accept that we are going to be watching these two devoid of it.

Pace of the serial - I am not sure why they are rushing thru this track? I didnt see them rushing thru Ishwari's insecurity track..they ran that for more than a month making lot of us to stop watching the show..

Worlds best proposal - I am sorry to say this was NOT one of it...it looked so artificial and it didnt touch the heart to the extent it should have except for the scene where he wipes her tears..I felt his simple confession was so much more appealing than this one..in fact for me that was one of the best confessions of love that I have scene. This proposal lacked depth.

The ONLY good part was Shaheer and Erica did try their best to do justice to the scene ..if we were able to sit thru the scenes is purely because of their acting skills. All the rest of the departments ( script/scenes /editing /costume/art) lacked perfection..

Its just my POV ...am sure others might have felt differently..I dont mean to hurt any ones sentiments..

I totally agree with you. I had even mentioned in another post. A small frown from her when he honks instead of knocking would have been good enough for me. She didn't do that. Implying she is fine with it.

Passion is as necessary as love. As you said, it doesn't require open intimate display. We have two actors here who can speak excellently with their eyes and their simple touches and gestures. Those would have been enough. One tight hug. Kiss on the cheek...

Pace of the serial - I am not sure why they are rushing thru this track? I didnt see them rushing thru Ishwari's insecurity track..they ran that for more than a month making lot of us to stop watching the show..

Tell me about it. And this is not the first time. Drag the pain and rush the joy. That seems to be the motto.

Definitely.

These two are the only one shouldering the show at this point of time. Any other actors, I would have quit long back.

Its just my POV ...am sure others might have felt differently..I dont mean to hurt any ones sentiments..

Me neither. 😊

I have ranted on all the different posts but I just can't seem to stop. Let me do it again here as well.
First off, Sona - Asha scene was nice. But I didn't understand what was it that Sona wanted. Bijoy's approval or Dev manning up? First she says he treats me like a toy, I don't know if he really will stand by me, then suddenly it's all about Baba approving. then comes the stupid honking. Now if Dev doesn't respect Sona's family, I won't blame him. Why should he? When her behavior indicates that he doesn't need to.

Their reunion scene was weird. The hesitation part was good. I liked that. But then what exactly happened? They hugged, then Dev went somehwere - then stopped. Then turned, with an amused expression on his face. Then comes the flying hug. Which lasts for precisely one second.

The proposal - an Anti- climax. All the build-up about World's best proposal went down the drain. The confession scene was so beautiful in its simplicity. I would've preferred an apology and some heartfelt conversation and most importantly - some passionate moments over this proposal any day.
The total lack of intimacy was so disappointing, it took away the essence of their emotions.
Also, I was so distracted by Shaheer's hair that I couldn't even hear half of what he was saying.

The entire scene at the Dixits could be shown today instead of eating up time from yesterday's episode. I couldn't understand Ishwari's hesitation at Maa word neither could I figure out Neha's expressions.

The only thing I could figure out from this was - The makers are slacking big time. In every department

Dev treats Sona as if she's an entity without any family , because frankly speaking that's how Sona herself behaves.
But that doesn't take away the fact that even my teenager time ex-boyfriend had better manners and sense of common courtesy than Dev and Sona. He always took me out only after coming inside the house , giving my dad venue of our date and also time of my return and always with out a fail take permission of my father. And that was just date, NOT marriage proposal , n definitely not after putting the entire girl's family through hell.
For Dev his family is what is important as he took her straight to his house as if to get their relationship validated by his family's approval.
But the problem is , for Sona too, only DEv's family is important. Bijoy is still unrealistically supportive but he's actually so much worried and unhappy and anxiety eating him up that this man, who never fought for his daughter's love, respect or hand and always prioritized his own family n mother over her and treated her like an option and let his mom do the hard work of making her agree to the proposal , n doesn't have the decency to apologize to her family , let alone trying to mingle with them n know them ( what a stark contrast with Ritwik. He was such a jem of a guy . The loss is only Sona's. No wonder Bijoy was literally heart broken when their match was broken. ) , will he ever be by his daughter's side when another trouble shakes the ground ?? There's absolutely no guarantee that he won't take the easy way out and dump her then too !
Sona is too much "fallen" in love . Hope she's strength in her to fight a life time battle in Ishwari Nivaas . She's chosen that fate. Hope she isn't suffering under the delusion that Dev will always be by her side through thick and thin.
I don't have time and energy enough to waste on writing about the patch up and "world's best proposal. " It was tacky and thoroughly lacked in emotion, passion and grandeur . It was miles away from the chemistry , simplicity, beauty , magic n uniqueness of the first proposal. The leads looked like they're faking it.
The less said about the set up, ambiense , costumes , music , dialogs , directing and editing the better.
The episode was a badly cooked dish , served cold and failed to impress. Viewers are let down big time.👎🏼
Even in Twitter and Insta the response is so very thanda,🥱 DEvakshi first dance created much more excitement in the fandom than yesterday's proposal 😕 😆. And at that time they were not even in love. But still there chemistry were on altogether another level , which set the screen on fire. ⭐️
But in yesterday's episode which was such a crucial one for Devakshi and should be a game changer , a turning point for the show , their chemistry looked forced. Shaheer looked tired and shabby. 🤔
It breaks my heart to think that probably the best days of KRPKAB are over. 🤢😭
