Serious doubt - Dev's reaction

I have a very serious question. Well now as Ishwari has accepted Sona for Dev, he went to her to ask Sona to come back to him. What if Ishwari did not accept Sona after all this fiasco which Dev has created in his as well as more importantly Sona's life? Will he sit and cry all his life for sona or does he have any guts to go against his mom?

Good question.. It could have gone two ways
1. Gradually dev would have been pulled towards sona once again as he is not able to let a day go with out seeing her and would have eventually grownup to ask the mom right questions or become devdas and bankrupt

2. Dev would have slowly moved on and learn to live with out sona.. Then he would have stopped interfering in her life and sona would have settled with some one more deserving

Does his ladies give him enough time to react ? His mom went with her plan just the next day after the engagement drama and his love got into another relationship just after the breakup.

Brilliant question !! Only if his mom had given him time to take his own decisions...mataji is always taking decision for her 28 yrs business tycoon son..Or she is always creating a situation so that her son finds the answer that will benifit her...Patha nahi yaar ye business tycoon kaise bana...

I hope Sona would reject the proposal even after the drama she is going to create...I mean that is like forcing her emotionally to agree.

Here's my POV on the question asked----

Had ishwari not agreed to the marriage after this fiasco, I think Dev would have just accepted it as he still does not have the guts to say anything to his mother. This I say due to the following reasons- firstly, the day after the engagement night fiasco , when Dev got up and couldn't remember anything - he was still bothered if his mum had seen him in that drunk condition- he is still Not aware of the things that he has said to his mum. Secondly, as the Friday episode showed- when he came to know that ishwari had gone to sona's home to ask her to marry Dev .. He didn't like the fact the she had gone there and she was insulted by sona's parents. My point is- he still doesn't give sona the importance she deserves and still thinks his mom is God.. And hence he would have succumbed to the situation had his mum not given her consent to the marriage.
